"OMG, I have found the greatest Italian Sub in Statesville, possibly in NC. I just love this place. Their food is so fresh and they use quality ingredients. I just discovered Vesuvio's this week and I have been there 3 times. First was the Italian, then Cheese Steak, then Pizza. All excellent. The atmosphere is awesome and the girl that waited on me all 3 times was a true delight. Can not say anything negative about this restaurant, you gotta try it !!!!!!!"

"The worst reservation experience of my life and I eat out 2-4 times a week. My family went to host desk asking for a table and they said 15 min but they would text us when table was ready. 30 min later had not heard so sent my son back to ask and they said ten more minutes. So we continued to walk around the neighborhood and 15 min later went back and they said they had text and phoned but no response so they gave away our time and it would be another ten minutes for another table. I did not receive either a text or call and we used my wife's phone to try both and if course they worked. We went down the stairs and came back ten minutes later and they said they gave away the table because we didn't wait up top. Dee the Host was awful and obviously needed some training. In my entire life I have never had such an awful experience and my family can never get that hour back. I am sure the owner would never accept such behaviour from their staff or the manager. The room looked nice and the food who knows, but if they treat us like this I am sure they have treated many others. The hostess staff should be fired. We literally went back 4 times and got treated in an incredibly disrespectful way. For those of you who don't reward bad behaviour, I am sure you will agree to spend your dollars with entrepreneurs and family restaurants who are not so disrespectful."

"I have to confess, I am extremely critical of restaurants. As is my husband who is a local professional Chef. So trust us when we say....this Italian restaurant is the best in the triad. Their pizza is fantastic and their strombolli and calzones are amazing! You won't be disappointed at this place!"

"The food at this restaurant was mostly good, but I did have one issue. My wife ordered avocado toast, but it came topped with hard-boiled eggs that were slightly overcooked with a green tinge. This can result in a sulfur smell. They should work on perfecting their hard-boiled eggs. Other than that, everything else was fine. My wife doesn't eat eggs, so she gave them to me."

"Saint Ambreous makes you feel important which is always nice. This isn’t the cheapest coffee shop but they have good coffee/tea and some other treats if needed. This location is connected to the southeby’s building and you enter through the main entrance. I would come back but not running here!"

"our second visit to sapori and we were very disappointed this time. the mood in the restaurant was warm and made for an uncomfortable, sweaty eating. our server never came back to check how our food was as they did not deliver to our table. if she had come to check us, I would have told her that the povera court was extremely dry and tasteless. the Gorgonzola court was small and perhaps contained 3 mushrooms. we have recommended this site in past, but need to pronounce future recommendations."
