"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, which is a shame because it has so much potential. Upon arrival, I couldn't find any employees to confirm my reservation. When I finally found someone, they tried to seat us in a $250 cabana. We opted for a different table, but it took a long time to receive our cocktails. Our waiter was friendly, but overall, I don't plan on returning to this establishment. It seems like there is a lack of management and direction for the staff. While I typically don't leave negative reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. Please be aware that this reservation was not for a regular table, but for a $250 cabana in a noisy and chaotic pool bar."

"I may have gotten catfished; however, the waitress Jasmine gave the most exceptional service. Amazing champagne and wine, and enough to forget I was scammed into meeting someone entirely different from the dating app. I will now only being going to Rox for first dates (and FaceTiming beforehand) The food was amazing, at least there was a lot of appetizing stuff to pay my attention to so I wouldn’t have to look at the mistake I met there. 10/10 would do again!"

"The food is great. It’s the room service menu for the chamberlain. The portions are big. However this is not the spot to go for a romantic dinner. They are still working on their ambience. I think it would be great for weekday breakfasts"

"Out in Charleston for vacation. Stopped by here to try it out and use an open table award. Have eaten at many of the Charleston restaurants over the last 15 years. So have been trying out new things lately. Place is super tiny no more than 2-3 people can sit at a table, limited dining area and there is a very crammed patio. Menu is limited and for a lobster roll, the lobster was very good and fresh, but the amount was rather small. Maybe I’m a bad judge, after going to Maine a few years ago and the insane amounts of lobster you get there. Drinks were also limited to wine and frozen drinks. They don’t have a full liquor license. Not a big deal but I’m not sure a place this small can survive on such a small niche."
