"This was our 47th wedding anniversary. We told the waiter no raw shellfish or raw meat for my wife. Salmon course came after a 1/2 hour wait waiter announced to my wife: we cooked your salmon more well done. How presumptuous to cook it...more it had nothing to do with her stating her dietary restrictions. He said he would get it to us quickly but we waited another 20 minutes. The pace of the meal was ruined, as well as the dinner. I did not want to make a scene just nodded all OK but please do not make us wait going forward. That fell on deaf ears. The meal was paltry. Decoration of colors was more important than giving a decent portion of a creative dish. Salad of poorly dressed arugula and a few nut particles with burrata was all leaves cheese. A pasta filled with shrimp with lobster was very good. Foie gras mousse nicely done. Overcooked sockeye salmon. The of two forkfuls. I was told earlier there was a meat course so I ordered red wine. Guinea fowl came I looked forward to the meat course only to be told 2 desserts were coming. The red wine ordered was a waste. Desserts: more like intermezzo an icy thin slice followed by yet another icy sorbet concoction. Two icy desserts? No creative pastry or souffle? No meat? You would think for $179. you were getting Kobe beef creatively prepared. We consider ourselves foodies and have had a tasting menu all over the world, not to mention Per Se, The Inn at Little Washington , The French Laundry, Charlie Palmer's,etc."
