"My wife and I made reservations for dinner prior to a musical at The Peace Center the week before Valentine 's Day. We were seated promptly and were fortunate enough to enjoy the Valentine 's Day dinner for 2 (not what we originally planned! . Holy cow! We opted to NOT have the wine pairing as 3 glasses of different wines would have rendered us useless at the show. However, Dan the bartender made excellent recommendations for us; wine for my wife and an ale for me. All courses of the meal were a delightful experience that we 've talked about for days. I even asked to speak to the chef after the main course, which I never do, to tell her how good all dishes were. The service was exceptional, even in these trying Covid times of short staffing and high turnover. I walked in expecting to use the same patience I have to muster at Staples, CVS, even getting my oil changed. Bottom line; I now go to EVERY restaurant expecting par service (as a courtesy to the service industry , but theirs was exceptional! Here 's a hint for those so called 'foodies ' that thrive on criticism: why don 't you ask the wait staff to describe the flavor, heat, spices, and the dish BEFORE you order it!?!? If it 's not like momma 's, then make your reservation at momma 's next time. All in, food was excellent, service was exceptional, and we 'll be returning."
