"I have been going to this coffee shop since they have opened, and it remains my favorite diner to go to in Brooklyn even though I have moved atleast 20 minutes away. The staff is always friendly and ofcourse they have they best breakfast and coffee. Love this little coffee shop."

"We love Harry!! he 's the most friendly, happy, fun guy to put an order in with! We love the salads, they 're crisp, fresh and delicious! The sandwiches are amazing, so generous with the fillings! We have one half for lunch and the other for dinner, I have had a few different hero 's and loved each one. The selections are endless! The drivers are friendly and very prompt, we 're never calling to say where 's my lunch! The homemade ice cream is a lovely treat after our savory sandwiches or generously prepared salads! Today one of our coworkers from a different office was here and her first time salad was the best she 's ever had! Looking forward to enjoying your creations for a long time to come! "My husband and I were in town for a few days. We stopped here the 1st night we got there, one of the only places open, and we were not disappointed. We came the next 3 mornings for breakfast. "What an amazing buffet!! The price was $28.00 for 2 adults with drinks. I thought it seemed like a lot of money but it was well worth it! They have a salad, soup and potato buffet. They have a very wide selection of main courses including chicken, shrimp, BBQ pork, pot roast and steaks cooked to order. The side dishes were veggies, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cabbage and much more. The dessert buffet had it all!! The chocolate cake was my favorite but they also offered bread pudding, brownies, apple crumb cake, cookies and a do it yourself ice cream bar. There were all types of toppings for the ice cream and it was delicious. Keep in mind that this is not the healthiest of foods. But if you are hungry, I can't think of a better place. The food was really, really good and the service was great. As we were leaving, I saw a sign for the breakfast buffet and I am looking forward to trying it! My only problem was that the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. On the whole, it was AWESOME and we loved it. Bring your appetite!"

"I've been here a couple times and it has been going downhill. Today I had the eggs Florentine and it was cold and sloppy. my tea was cold and so was my bacon. I'm upset because the very first time was the only best time. minutes after eating I saw a roach crawling on my table!!! My stomach is in pain and having to use the restroom. I don't understand why but I won't be returning. also the gentleman was being very rude to the young lady. very weird!"

"This place can surprise you, it sure did surprise me! A combination of restaurant and healthy food is carefully balanced in this place. We tried: Salmon crepe 5 stars. Try adding avocado Chili cheese fries 3 stars. Too salty. Chicken salad our absolute favorite. Giant portions, and not simple lettuce, a proper salad mix and all sorts of things and a generous freshly grilled chicken. We are coming back."

"PROS: This diner is slightly higher than other diners. The quality of the food was better than usual, and the menu was a regular diner menu. The place had a nice layout and a waiting staff that was very well maintained, beautiful and knowledge about the menu. Some diners have a waiting staff acting like they don't want to be there, but it was different here. The mood you get from these people was great. It was very clean and the owner even came by to welcome us. CONS: Parking is terrible! You are either lucky enough to park on the street or you need to park in their crumb parking the size of a highway. OVERALL: This is not a bad diner, one of the best actually. In addition to the parking lot, the food and the service was great and the atmosphere was a bit higher. I recommend it!"

"Super friendly staff and the place is nicely decorated. One problem is the long wait time on food. The food took about 30 to 40 mins to come out. My husband and I ordered 2 simple plates of breakfast. I got the #2 breakfast special (scrambled eggs, toast,bacon, and potatoes). My husband got the #7 breakfast special (2 sunny side up, ham, bacon, sausage, and 2 pancakes). The food was great. We loved it. But the food needed to come out a bit faster.We also witnessed a guy who wanted a refund for his sandwich/bagel because it took so long."

"In the past, I had said that the Washington House served one of the 2 most memorable steaks I ever had. No more it was tasteless. Everything was over salted. I had heard that a slug would shrivel if doused with salt. That is what happened to my mouth. Do not order the painkiller cocktail. I do not know how you can screw up a fruit and rum drink, but they managed to do it. I drank it fast just to get rid of it. The only thing they prepared that was digestible was the coffee. The service was fine."

"The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the service was terrible, and the dish I ordered was disappointing. I got a burrito, expecting it to be similar in size to those from Chipotle, but it was quite small and came with a strange salad that included fruit. It felt like they had rushed to prepare the dish using leftover rice from the previous night and there was hardly any meat in it. I left the restaurant feeling frustrated, especially when they tried to charge me a different price than what was listed on the menu. This place is a rip-off and seems more suited for drunken patrons than for anyone expecting decent food and service. It definitely could use someone like Gordon Ramsay to whip it into shape!"
