"Honestly, and especially for the price we paid, we felt like any dish we sucked. It was not bad in terms of quality, but the roles they have are really strange and experimental and they just missed the brand. The appetizers are sub par, and it is really expensive for us to have enjoyed nothing. I don't think this place is worth it, there are better and less expensive sushi options out there."

"Great service. Not very busy. Good vegan options. I was really hungry so I got the beef yakisoba AND the short ribs. The yakisoba steamy, flavorful, and filling. It came on a huge plate and I added extra bok choy although I didn’t need to cause it already comes with a good amount). It came out piping hot which I loved. A healthy portion of vegetables and the sauce is delicious. After ordering my friend who is vegan decided to get the vegetable yakisoba. We found out that normally the sauce for the dish is made with chicken stock but my letting the chef know his dietary restrictions they were able to substitute for a plum sauce making the dish completely vegan. The short ribs were also very delicious. They came with a side of kimchi. The ribs were Japanese style so super chewy with that great umami flavor. Two negative thing ms about the visit was there was a lot of kids and babies crying during our visit. As well as a slightly funny smell in the restaurant. I would definitely go back despite those slight issues. Ps the lamb chop looked scrumptious. If you’re thinking about it. DO IT!"

"my family and I went to dinner yesterday at 16 o'clock. that was the best experience I ever had. the personal is so polite. our server was wonderful (jessica) and our cook was absolutely polite and eager to make our experience the best. he was so sweet and I couldn't believe how fresh it was. my mother ordered the garnel and the pieces were great and tasted wonderful. the Steak sections are worth every penny. I recommend this restaurant. many thanks for the wonderful experience and entertainment"

"Love everything about this place. They are extremely accommodating to vegan and gluten free diets with many different vegan sushi rolls to choose from. "The food here is great. Traditional Japanese cuisine that goes far beyond sushi. We come often and we love it. A little on the pricey side, but you pay for quality. I read other reviews saying the service is terrible. I disagree. The servers and the owner are really nice and attentive. It is a bit slow, it's true, but most of their food is cooked from scratch. For example their rice cooks for 30 minutes. Again, quality takes time. Give me slow food over fast food any time."

Bar service slowly bc the barkeepers are so concentrated on the “art” it takes too long to actually get a simple cocktail. and the restaurant describes some dishes that should have heat (hamachi with serranos, spicy pork tan tan) and not only no seasoned, they are under seasoned. but overall was good, especially the gyoza and ripen."

"Consistently great staff and food!! Great place to have a bite before a show in the Winspear. Staff gave great recommendations for cocktails and entrees based on our dislikes/loves. Super attentive that no one at the table had any allergies. Favourite dishes: Thai Coconut Curry soup, Musume Steam Buns with pig belly and tone gyoza. The staff asks if you are there to see a show so they can make sure that food comes together and quickly."

"I am a regular at this great sushi restaurant when I am in Cleveland. It is very high quality and also a bit unique verses normal sushi restaurants. In the pictures you will see a sashimi tasting menu which is awesome and a go to. One cool thing they do is fry your shrimp head after your eat the meat. They serve it with green tea salt. If you may be apprehensive, don't be! The head is crunchy and flavorful. Be a little adventurous here to be paid back greatly. You will want more! Also you will see pictures their spicy tuna hand roll. Very nice with great flavor and texture. Finally a mixture of some of my favorites. You pick yours. You cannot go wrong. The space is a bit small which is part of the experience so make a reservation. If you like sushi, just go, I promise you will be very happy!! After reading a few reviews: indeed the parking can be a bit challenging so just be patient. Is is downstairs in a basement so others are right dress comfortable and enjoy the food. Ginko is not fancy. Others have said it is expensive which it is. What they have not offered is a better value alternative. That matters to me personally. Now there was a great place around the corner that at one time probably offered a lower cost but it closed. So again I love this place but do agree you will have to pay for it."
