"UPDATED 5/8/22: Was originally a 2 star review based on my satisfaction as a customer for this particular occasion (have had other good experiences). I'm still disappointed but the business felt the review was unfair to them since the fish was fresh and they were simply trying out new ideas they saw on YouTube. I've changed it to 5 stars to not negatively impact a local business per their request. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Disappointing experience tonight. Ordered a chirashi don through uber eats and in the past has always been sashimi style slices of fish on the rice. Tonight, I received a small platter of chopped up fish with scrambled eggs as my chirashi. I called just to make sure it wasn't a mistake and they said it's part of a transition to AZN. The gentleman on the phone didnt offer to do anything to help. It'll be the last time I order this again as I can get a much higher quality poke bowl for half the price elsewhere. This is unfortunate, losing another PTC option for consistent decent quality sushi."

"Our second visit here and tried the Sushi this time. It was very good! We will definitely be back, but it will be hard to decide what to order; Italian or Sushi!! We like the atmosphere of the restaurant also, nice mellow music in the background and we understand there will be entertainment some evenings! Also, valet parking Friday and Saturday nights really helps at this busy area of Lakewood."

"We had to wait almost 2 hours. Most dishes were delicious. The prices were too high. There was a beautiful view of the sunset. This made for some beautiful photo possibilities. My only complaint was that the fried oysters bite. My wife has the feast of Peace Fisherman. It cost over $35 and had the amount of food a $20 dish would have in other places. My wife gets fried oysters in every fish restaurant we've ever been. They're their favorite. She knows how to cook and how to taste. They were seasoned, but not seasoned. They were so tiny that they could hardly taste the meat themselves. She usually tasted the crust. When she asked the waitress and later the manager about it, she was told that when cooking the oysters will shrink in size. We're from Louisiana, where seafood prevails. Oysters do not shrink when they are fried. The manager was friendly enough to get her even more oysters; That was nice of him."

"Ordered a couple of drinks from the bar, Cesar salad, 2x8oz filet mignons, garlic mash, vegetables and side of bone marrow. Both steaks were salty and mine has inedible pieces. Very low quality steak. Atmosphere was very nice and service was as expected for a restaurant in this price range."

"The service was friendly and attentive. Portions big and sushi rolls were great! There was confusion between servers on who was serving our table, so there was a minor delay on taking our order. They brought us a yummy appetizer as an apology and we thought that was above and beyond what they needed to do. My friend spilled her soup and they helped clean up and brought another soup for her. Will definitely come back!"

"I used to be a regular here, but this was my first visit in many years. (And probably my last . It started with odd service. We were seated and a waitress immediately asked if we were ready to order. We requested a few minutes. As she left, a waiter came to the table and asked to take our order. We told him we needed a few minutes but we did ask him for edamame. He then asked us if we wanted water (which was an odd question because we already had water on the table in front of us. . A few minutes later, we ordered our food. By now, 5 or 10 minutes had passed and still no edamame. I asked our waiter about the edamame. He repeated my request, but couldn’t pronounce the word edamame??? That was odd. He then said there was a mistake, but it will be out soon. It finally came out about the same time as our meals (delivered by a third and fourth person to come to our table. The soy sauce on the table was the low-sodium version (with the green lid . I asked if he could bring us the regular soy sauce (with the red lid . Again, he looked thoroughly confused. Next, a fifth person came to our table and asked us about the soy sauce we were requested. We repeated our request and she seemed confused too. She said she’ll see what she can do. Five minutes later she came to our table with a bottle of regular soy sauce (clearly from the restaurant kitchen . The bottle was covered with fingerprints (probably used for prepping food in the kitchen . It was also cold, right out of the refrigerator. Anyway, we started eating. . . The food was ok (at best but the wasabi had absolutely no taste. It was odd. It was just a green flavorless paste. Then, while we were still eating, a sixth person started bussing the table and we had to stop him from taking food that we were still eating. Overall it was a lousy experience and certainly not worth going through again. Disappointed."

"This is one of our favorite dinner spots. It's extremely convenient and usually doesn't have a large crowd until later in the evening. Their take-out orders are quick as well. Our favorite spot to sit is the bar. We love watching the chefs' create masterpieces with ease. It's a lot of fun to eat and enjoy the show. Everyone there is usually extremely polite as well. The food is yummy and the sushi is fresh. The prices are not too bad, either. Less expensive than a number of other sushi places in the area."

"Delivery Sushi Nirvana has been Attained!. Mori has somehow managed to combine two concepts near and dear to my heart DELIVERY and SUSHI. Because of this, we don't tend to seek out sushi when we do eat out, so I'm not well versed on the Seattle sushi scene. <br/ <br/ However, a few months back while the beau was out of town, I had a huge hankering for some raw fish and seaweed. I headed for my laptop hoping against hope that I could find a decent sushi place in the neighborhood because while I was indeed craving sushi, I was also feeling unbelievable lazy. Go get food? Huh. No, I think I'll have popcorn for dinner instead. <br/ <br/ I was hitting all the usual on line spots, searching for sushi with good reviews, and BAM! I found sushi (check in the neighborhood (check and...what's this? They deliver! Oh miracle of miracles, I think I just heard the angels singing! I burned up the phone lines calling Mori and placing my order. <br/ <br/ My delivery order arrived within a half hour and the delivery person was courteous and friendly. After closing the door and temporarily setting down my to go boxes in order to do an impromptu happy dance, I tucked in to wonderful, fresh, and flavorful sushi. I have since ordered delivery sushi from Mori several times and it's always been a great experience. <br/ <br/ The only thing I would suggest to make the experience absolutely sublime: Mori should look into on line ordering. Oooh, the thought just makes me swoon."

"I have always liked Saucebox and this last trip in was pretty nice too. Greeted by the manager almost immediately and a lot of hustle-bustle in the building. Sat and had our favs, the karaage and some sichuan peppercorn steak. Cocktails always add some fun to the table because they are a little tropical, a little tiki, a lot of zazzle. Cool that they ahve been open for so long and still maintain a solidly fun time. We will be back soon, thank you guys!"

"First time visit! We love Thai and sushi so thought we'd check out lunch. We got there right as they were opening. We were greeted, sat and had drinks brought to the table in a flash. We ordered apps. Spring rolls and steamed dumplings. They were good but the spring rolls weren't hot on the inside. Then we ordered. I ordered our lunch. I ordered chicken with baby corn and asked to have broccoli and then my husband ordered clear noodles with beef. They were so good. A little on the rich side but so good. The chicken with baby corn was really good also. Can't wait to return to this great spot!"

"Hostess sent us a text the table was ready (we had a reservation) we came up to the host stand and the hostess told us it would be a minute more we ended up waiting 12 mins till we could seat. "Just okay. The best part of the meal was the fried shrimp…and while those are great, as a seafood restaurant your best dish should never be your fried dishes, especially just fried shrimp.
