"First visit to Sawatdee, and everyone in our group of 3 was happy with our food. However, despite signage regarding supporting social distancing prominently displayed in the lobby and masking being recommended for both vaccinated and unvaccinated, only some of the staff wore masks and a table of 4 were seated right next to our table, putting unmasked strangers within 2-3 feet of us. I am currently going through chemotherapy but thought this would be a safe place for the rare dinner out (we were downtown to buy a Christmas tree and wanted to make an evening of it). Meanwhile, entire sections of the restaurant sat empty. It was clear that seating was determined for maximum convenience of the wait staff (fewer steps) rather than the safety of the diners. Disappointing doublespeak."
