"This is my favorite restaurant in town. It’s always good, but things were off tonight. Our server, Noah, was definitely struggling, not just with us but every table around us. The first bottle of wine we ordered wasn’t in stock. It took him 25 minutes to tell us that and another 10 to bring us a wine list, then 15 more to bring the bottle. And no shock, when I gave him two options of what we’d rather have instead, the far more expensive one was in stock and the one I said we’d prefer wasn’t in stock. Meanwhile, our food was getting cold while we waited for wine. He didn’t bring steak knives (another server did after realizing we weren’t digging into dinner while passing by). Then the initial bottle we ordered but wasn’t in stock was on the check along with the bottle we actually got, so we had to have him correct that, as well as another check error. I’ve never encountered service issues here, but tonight was rough. Food tonight was also really salty. This isn’t my usual experience here and I’d have normally said something, but with the other issues, I didn’t. The lobster bisque was great, as always. The filet special just needed less salt and it would have been stellar."
