"I had visited a friend and wanted to find a place that had an amazing view, and one that was not too busy. Since I love checking new breweries, I thought this place was the perfect place for both! Viewpoint offers a blend of 20 styles of home-brown tap beers. They have a huge indoor and outdoor space with stunning views of the San Dieguito Lagoon. Here's what we ordered: I chose the custom beer flight of 3 or 5 beers so I could try so many of their beers at a time. I chose a variety of 3: Pot'O Gold Irish Red 5.4 22 IBU on NITRO. It is a collapsing with Gravity Heights Brewery (Sorrento Valley). It was smooth with a medium body and light dry rye finish; Mr. Mulligans Belgian Tripel 9.5 32 IBU definitely fat flavors, but not like a typical Belgian; Cool Kids Hazy IPA is a New England style IPA with hints of pineapple and peach with a hint of IPA bitterness. Dinner: Chicken Schnitzel $21 with lemon cream, apple, arugula, parmesan. It was really good and delicate and the plentiful lemon cream was the perfect pairing. No other page except Arugula so you want to order a page. Backyard Burger $18 with American cheese, salad, tomatoes, onion and their burger sauce. With Fritten. The burger was juicy and I loved the Parmesanfries! Tip: Parking is not great and they are more than happy to use the customers who load $20 to valet your car with ALL of the available parking lot in their small amount. In the vicinity there is a smaller self-paid space, but it is limited parking. Street parking is not great and almost not existent."
