"As anyone who follows me knows, I don't want to complain. However, I post on Barringtons based on how I was treated on Tuesday, not the food. Please know that Barringtons has been my family for a few years? The food is consistently delicious and I love the atmosphere. However, Tuesday I was hit with a sneaky attitude and was turned away. Here? Meet some friends after work at 6. We had planned to go to Foxcroft Wine, but when we arrived, we found them closed for an event. So I said I'd see if Barrington's had a table? When I came in, maybe they had two tables sitting in there, maybe one on the terrace. Lots of space. I asked the people behind the little bar if we could sit outside for drinks and cots and I was told by a woman? No, don't we? I was surprised, but I said okay and left. I was dressed by work and was not in sweat or other sweaty clothes. And too bad for Barringtons as we went elsewhere and ended up spending about $150 for wine, appetizers and a meal. Too bad they're snobby. I have to say, right? I'll be home again. Charlotte has too many good restaurants for anyone who acts like that. Bye."
