"I came here for Saturday night football. the giants and eagles played and although it is a big game, the place was not crowded. Yes, most of the seats were taken, but there was one standing and one table for four who were empty when we arrived and one sitting at the bar. We ordered the 60 cent wings that were quite large. I have 10 buffalo with blue cheese and it was the perfect amount. they weren't overly clogged if they prefer it. I also have the grapefruit ipa that I do not recommend is in a dose and then I have a draft of the greender ipa that they cannot go wrong. the tvs are mounted above the bar usually so if they want to see the game, I would highly recommend a seat on the bar. It seems to me that the best otherwise there are stands on the wall and there are tables in the center where there are stools but without back, and these seats are pretty good, I would assume that the stand seats could have a more impeded view on the tvs, as they are lower I would recommend this sporty to watch the game because its not as crowded as others in the city. When they drive, there is ready to circle a few times for the parking space, it took us about 10 minutes to find parking, although we have a pretty small car that was the only way to get a place a block away. the service is average. they order everything they can when the server comes, they can't see them for one thing. they are not surprised if there is no host at the door, if they want to sit on the bar. if they are not looking for the host."

"We were really excited to try Woodlands Grill. There are only a few local options and the reviews and menu looked great. The first night we arrived an hour before their posted closing time and we were turned away because they said they let staff go and close an hour earlier than what they have posted. We were disappointed but decided to try again. The next time we got there at 6 to make sure we would have enough time. We got seated and tried to order drinks and every beer on the menu that we tried to order we were told they were all out. Disappointing but not the end of the world so we order what they had. The kids were excited to try the pizza and the rest of us all decided what we wanted to order. Then the waitress came to take our order and let us know they are no longer serving pizza or anything else on the menu other than lunch items. What a bummer...not one of us got to order what we wanted. The worst part was actually the quality of what we did get to eat. My kids will eat just about anything and I've never seen them refuse to eat chicken tenders and French fries....but these were so bad I couldn't blame them. Chicken was super thin and way over cooked which made them hard to chew. Same with the waffle fries only they were also very over salted on top of it. The burgers and sandwiches were horrible. I felt so bad for the waitress because none of this was her fault. The owners should just shut the doors if they can't afford to staff and supply the restaurant sufficiently. Apparently this place is better in peak season....definitely avoid eating here after Labor Day!"
