"Went to The General Warren for the first time yesterday for a post-nuptial, delayed Wedding Reception. The cocktails, small plates and desserts were all delicious and the coffee was amazing. We had the outside patio to ourselves and with the stonework, beautiful gardens and lovely little grotto seating area, it made for a delightfully relaxing afternoon. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Definitely plan a return visit for dinner soon."

"My friend was visiting from out of state and she said that she wanted a really nice restaurant where the food was excellent. I immediately thought of the General Warren Inn because I have enjoyed delicious meals here, even in an igloo. I had a great pumpkin martini and my friend had a nice blended red wine. We both ordered the Beef Wellington and we were both disappointed in the flavor since it did not have the flavor that we expected. It did not have any mushroom flavor and when we asked the waiter about the flavor, he said that they prepare it differently than the usual way. It would have been nice if the waiter had said something to us when we ordered it, especially since it was the most expensive entree on the menu. I was more disappointed for my friend because I have always loved my meals at the General Warren Inn."
