"Was very excited about this restaurant, and when we went in, we were so happy with the decor and layout. Service was exemplary. The food was delicious! We were there for Restaurant Week and everything was delicious, including special cocktails! When the check came, we were shocked! At least 3-5 times a week in the whole city this was a first for us. Palate calculated automatic satisfaction for 2 persons. Then they paid 4% for credit cards. You raised the tax on all this! This was so unexpected and not mentioned anywhere in their menus or paperwork. We asked the staff, they said this was their standard practice and standard in industry, not sure what industry they relate to, but never seen. Unfortunately, it will not return to this restaurant because this was the worst and inappropriate to do this without notice, no other restaurant that we have accused in this way."
