"that was absolutely brilliant. both my mahi mahi and the Chilean psychic of my wife were prepared for perfection. I don't think I had a piece of fish in years so great. the season was perfect. the cocktails were amazing and great. the ahi poki appetizer was so fresh and clean I wanted some more I had the reserve ribs and they were delish! ananas on the head cake and melted chocolate cakes were fantastic, like the Hawaiian brotpudding (our adult children came for desert and drink) the service was excellent and very attentive, but not overtaken or suffy. kellner was funny and had a great personality I just got a problem that this location is closed on 23 March 2020. so glad we made it. I notice that dfw is a hyper-competitive subtlety, but maybe another location in the metroplex would draw more patrons? I'll be sad to see this roy's closure. it was always a walk to the favorites."

"we enjoyed a jubilee dinner at roy’s. the personal was friendly and attentive. eating, presentation and ambiente were great. my wife enjoyed the scallops and the ahi was well prepared and very good. the Roy version of ananas on the head cake was delicious."

"good, not great. the food was good. the room was pretty loud because it was only half full. it took 8 minutes until the server showed up. it took an hour and 45 minutes until our escapes appeared. the service was in the average. eating was good, but not at the price. the sushi was probably the best part. I was other places that are in the same price class and the overall experience is clearly better. I honestly don't think I'll be back."

"Decent, but not outstanding. The food was decent, but the atmosphere was quite noisy despite the restaurant only being half full. It took 8 minutes for the server to greet us, and our entrees took an hour and 45 minutes to arrive. The service was mediocre at best. The food was okay, but not worth the price. The sushi was likely the highlight of the meal. I have been to other restaurants in the same price range that offer a much better overall experience. I don't believe I will return."

"THEY ARE CLOSING THIS LOCATION SOON??Met friends for dinner. Met at the bar first for a beverage which several drinks we ordered they could not accommodate because they will be closing this location therefore they are not restocking the bar. We were seated for dinner. Seats comfortable but loud. Ordered Caesar and filet. Caesar lacked dressing and filet was smothered with a brown sauce that over powered the meat. Wish it was better but felt we paid too much for what we got."
