"I had never visited Magnolia until my friends invited a group of us to go a way. We went for Happy Hour the week, which was all the other. The waitress asked what I want to drink, and I pointed the $5 drink on the menu. She then asked what kind of vodka I want and began to tell me all the different vodka they had – I chose one and asked that it be a big one. She brought me the drink that was in a glass. It took quite ahile to get the height as I ordered. When I was ready to go, I gave her $6 and she was surprised – she said Oh, do you want the rest of the bill on your card? I was shocked when she gave me the bill for almost $17. I asked what that was for, and she said I chose a vodka. We went around and around and then the manager said that what you ordered – it was not a happy hour drink. In addition, they automatically added a $2.65 tip. Needless to say – I let everyone know that “happy hour” did not turn out so “happy”. I just wonder how many others have done this. AWARE Also, the attitude is not good for big parties – very cramped, very loud – no place for the food we ordered – could not hear the person next to me – I think it could be the can on the ceiling."
