"Love the location and atmosphere; during daylight look at U of C, high trees and midway plaisance are beautiful. My root vegetable soup was cleaned (with cheese, apparently; it was a strange salty taste. Maybe too much cheese? The salmon cake was also too salty, but the salad and the toast that came with him were good. The comminuted surgeons had a nice taste, but were very oily, distracted by their taste and texture. My guest liked their chicken pot cake soup and Crème caramel. I ordered the “Snow Island” (not it is the name, but close, what was huge and very good when you taste lemon balm. I would go back because the service is amazing; the restaurant is beautiful, but I would try more traditional English dishes next time."
