"beautiful, courteous and patient with my parents from the city when we came between brunch and dinner menu, they let us wait until the dinner menu starts with drinks. Tables larger than 4 are on the outside on the terrace in a closed plastic area with room heating. the tables were somehow wobbly and it made us spill a glass water her fix was to stack karton coasters among the table that fell and almost caused another spill. Maybe this could be fixed? the restaurant and the bar inside is beautiful and really beautifully designed. all our food was a great escape late and they took it from our bill, and they gave us a free dessert because they heard it was a birthday. a real complain, although the bathrooms are way to dark. how dark you can't say if you're really striving. I had to open the door to wash my hands. all agreed in our party (with many different ageed eyes, from 20 to 60! . Many Buschwick bars have dimming bathrooms (I get it, ambiente, but that was just too dark for a bath, and especially one in a restaurant that serves to eat."

"This restaurant can and will cancel your open table reservation prior to your meal time BUT still show up! This happened to us and they were completely dead with tables available. Also, ask to sit near the lake view windows if possible. The staff like to congregate and complain about restaurant gossip- staff being sick, staffing, family life- and it greatly disturbs the peace of your restaurant experience. This seems to occur back by the buffet glass on either side and also in a room behind the scenes that you can still hear from on the hostess stand side of the restaurant. We ate there 4 times in 2 days so I noticed patterns very quickly."

"My partner and I dined at the Mill Room for Valentine's Day. Even though there was a fixed menu with limited choices, our meal took more than 2 hours to finish. Both the appetizers and main dishes were served cold. The wait staff appeared to be flustered and there was a lack of communication with the kitchen. On multiple occasions, we observed plates being brought out to the dining area by runners, only to be left sitting or sent back to the kitchen because they couldn't locate the correct table. The flavor of the food was satisfactory, but eating cold steak is never enjoyable."

"We ate at the Mill Room on Valentine's Day. Despite having a set menu with a few options our meal took over 2 hours to complete. The appetizers and main dish were all served cold. Wait staff seemed overwhelmed and there seemed to be no coordination with the kitchen. Several times we saw food brought out to the dining room by runners only to sit or be returned to the kitchen because they couldn't identify the correct table. The taste of the food was fine (other than the heat. no one likes eating cold steak)."

"Ohhhh boy...this was disappointing for sure. It 's Friday 5pm and very disappointing italian to go. We had a POLPETTA MOZZARELLA with spaghetti and POLPETTA MOZZARELLA Rigatoni. The spaghetti was limp and mushy, sauce was tasteless no spice and no tang of tomato, smallish meatball was burnt and over salted. The rigatoni was mushy, the sauce lacked spice, and the meatball was wet. We paid extra for focetetta bread that wasn 't even toasted. Finally we ordered what was supposed to a flour less chocolate cake with homemade whip cream . What we got was more like a small brownie with NO whip cream......pictures are coming....its too bad but expected alot better"
