"Consider yourself fortunate if you don't know what Dimes Square is, because you would've saved yourself some confusion trying to understand the microneighborhood named for this eatery I'm writing about today. Technically Dimes Square is named for the original Dimes next door, known for drawing a crowd of models, men with buns, and self-important young people who may have benefited from a trust fund or two. Dimes Deli is the casual sister eatery to Dimes, and gives off a diner vibe, but with things like poke and gazpacho on the menu. There is no discernible cuisine or theme, except that the menu leans healthy. I ordered both poke and gazpacho which were nice for the humid night I was there but didn't do much for my tastebuds. As much as I poke fun at those who like places like this I'm actually in this target demo. I'd very much enjoy a healthy bowl with a dragonfruit lavendar coconut water smoothie on the side, but only if executed well, and this meal was wholly unmemorable."
