"So this was the first time me and my friend had tried this place. And I am a huge sushi lover. When I got my food the sashimi salmon still had ice particles in it and it was the same for the octopus, I have gotten sashimi from many places and I know salmon and octopus sashimi shouldn’t have ice particles in it when it’s served. When I went to eat my Philly roll I noticed the rolls were cut too big so it was harder for me to eat. After we left the day of and the next couple of days I have felt sick and have had stomach aches."

"I dined in, meat was so over-cooked that I couldn't chew it. The next time I ordered chicken and broccoli and the chicken was dry and stringy. I will not go back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"The sushi appetizer (it's nigiri) and the sashimi appetizer were excellent and super fresh. Some of the fried rolls are very rich in flavor. The fried tofu was silkened tofu, so beware if you don't enjoy that. The brown cheesecake (tempura fried) is awesome! So is the fried ice cream."

"Pros: Very good/liked being able to add or remove ginger and wasabi Cons: Rolls were on the smaller side making cost-value lower/didnt like how spicy items were mashed fillings rather than solid pieces of fish with spicy Mayo Overall: Decent and would try again"

"Sushi and rolls were all excellent and so delicious. The staff is very friendly and the place was clean. My favorite dragon is and my children love Godzilla roll but all the other sushi and roles were also fantastic. Very recommended!"

"Sushiya is the best sushi spot in Philly hands down. I have been ordering here for a year now and will never go anywhere else! There rolls are huge and high quality and so delicious and the customer service is top tier, not to mention there prices are so affordable, you will not be disappointed!"

"I had bourbon chicken, pepper chicken, lo mein noodles, and fried rice. Maybe their sushi is their specialty, but right now I'm wishing I ordered my Asian food from one of the two places across the way instead."
