"We are locals, live about 2 miles away and for the last 10 yrs have been watching the transformation of the area. This was our first time here. It's unfortunate that I have to give them a 2. The space is nice. The lady at the counter was very courteous and the line cook, who was setting chairs outside and cooking and bringing it to the table was clearly overwhelmed. We were the first customers of the day, yet the table tops were not clean. There was roach on the wall next to our table so we had to move.. They did not have decaf coffee or butter for our toast. This is not on the workers, this falls entirely on the owner or owners. We all have to deal with labor shortage these days. Ok so half of our population are lazy entitled people. But as a business owner myself, if I have to roll my sleeves up and clean the floors, then so be it. Food is ok. It's a solid B. Not the greatest but not bad. The workers were nice, and amenable. It gives me no pleasure to give you a bad review. This is my neighborhood, I want you all to flourish. After reading the owners response, I am changing my ratings, as I don't want to hurt anyone's business. I hope that you will overcome the difficulties you are facing now. I know restaurant business is hard, I worked in it for many years while in school. I wish you all the success."
