"If you 're not a burger eater, this isn 't the place for you. We go there only when it 's the only place open (without a wait ...the kitchen is open til at least midnight, which is good for us after a movie or just our regular late dinner.<br/ <br/ My husband generally gets some version of a burger good but not great, especially since Red Coat is across the street. I 've learned to stick with sandwiches, which are HUGE...and on 'Jeff 's bread ', also very good. <br/ <br/ I 've made the mistake of going off into more sophisticated fare the other night I ordered the spicy shrimp appetizer 8 shrimp sauteed in spices...er, wait...a glob of brown gunk and a salad plate full of oil. Served with carrots, celery and Jeff 's bread, all encased in the giant pool of oil. <br/ <br/ Chicken chili was more like bean soup with the addition of chunks of processed chicken (nice, neat rectangles and a little spice. <br/ <br/ Mexican food is giant and average. Salads are okay at best. <br/ <br/ Service...well...the guy at the bar is a nice guy but a little forgetful and hurried. You have to ask for ketchup, hotsauce, napkins (every time we go there! ...that is, when you can catch him. He tends to forget to bring things like water and the condiments, so you have to ask more than once. Cheerful guy, though, and busy, so it 's hard to fault him too much.<br/ <br/ So all in all, it 's a decent place for a late nigh meal as long as you stick to the basics of sandwiches and burgers. The rest is meh."
