"Celebrate my men rest with our neighbors of the next door. Our table had a beautiful view of the lake, live saxo guitar music from the bar, very personable waitress and excellent food made it a perfect evening. I had the Elk medals with angel hair paste, and my husband had the rib eyesteak. Everything was perfect until the strawberry cake we had to dessert. A small additional bonus for me was the long-sleeved T-shirt I bought from the lobby. Thanks for an unforgettable evening."

"We so looked forward to trying this place their website states that they are open for dinner starting at 5 pm! Well here we sit this uptown cafe isnt open at all! How lazy do you have to be to not alert the dining public that your operation is closed, has changed its hours/days open, etc? I doubt we will give them another opportunity after this incompetent failure."

"Great atmosphere in a great location. Impeccable service. The food wasn’t for me. Particularly the cucumber salad. The weiner schnitzel was a little tough. Good potato salad tho. The sausages were decent as well. To be fair. We were just in New Branfels, and while those restaurants are German, the dishes are mostly the same but executed at a higher ls level."

"Grand Dukes has the food I have been eating all my life,77. It reminds me of my Czech Granny Lily and my Polish Granny Eva. And then as time went on my mom and dad kept the food going and me too. I was very lucky to live in Berwyn Illinois with loads of restaurants as well as neighboring Cicero. They are all gone. Grand Dukes brings all Eastern European food together. Delicious. There is such a wide selection of anything you can remember or are eager to try. Your food arrives tasty and hot. Many people celebrate happy occasions which provides fun and happiness for other diners"

"We went for lunch and enjoyed it very much even though we were keeping it light. I went with the soup special due to the weather and it was solid choice and very tasty. My wife had a salad which she enjoyed . Dessert (ice cream wrapped in pecans and chocolate sauce) was stars. The other desserts looked good too. We look forward to going back and trying some other dishes and the cafe."

"This is definitely a semi upscale restaurant. I ordered the Beef Wellington and my girlfriend ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese. The food was magnificent and staff was amazing. They are pricey but is so worth the service you receive. The manager was on top of his game seeing to everyone and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. It was a great date night experience while on vacation. We will certainly dine here again on our next trip."

"I had dinner with my friend. The house spiced cider was perfect, highly recommend you try that. We ordered beef goulash and potato leek soup; they were delicious and big serving size too. For the entrees, we got the pork tenderloin and pork schnitzel; one entree was enough to feed two people. The sauce was delicious, just a bit too much salt on the meat for me. Customer service was wonderful. Definitely give this place a try if you want German food."

"2nd review: I the Biergarten! Fabulous employees, great food and lots of different entertainment. I have listened to live music and laughed at comedy shows. They have specials every night so even if they don't have live entertainment it's a fun place to hang with friends ! 1st review: Delightful comedy show dinner on Thursday night at the Biergarten. We split the Chimichuuri Steak Salad the Herbed Spatzle. I was surprised at how delicious the food was. The beef tenderloin melted in my mouth. Our waitress, Kim. was outstanding friendly, efficient and helpful. Kim added beer cheese to the herbed Spatzle which was precisely what the noodles needed. My friend also tried the grapefruit beer and loved it. The comedians were fabulous L.A. Hardy was the headliner he was hysterical. Mindy Mo Chad Ridgely were both wonderful provided much needed laughs. Memorable evening !"
