"I'm a big fan of the Grilled Chicken Gourmet Tacos and The Original Fish Tacos. Today, I decided to try the California Burrito at Rubio's, but unfortunately, it didn't stand out to me. I'm giving it four stars because the chips always taste stale, as if they're from yesterday's batch. If I order a side of chips, I expect them to be fresher. The salsa bar was closed, so I had to pay $1.00 for pico de gallo. The location in Santee has a nice terrace with plenty of outdoor seating. I did notice that some of the staff behind the counter weren't wearing aprons or name tags, which felt a bit odd. Overall, the restaurant appears clean and welcoming. I will definitely return, especially since this is my first visit since the pandemic."
