"When we first came here, we were thrilled with the food. Tonight we came to our anniversary. gosh.... Let's talk about why you go to a restaurant: the food. I've never had such a good cheese pizza in my nearly 29 years. Do you know how much cheese pizza ive had? A LOT. The pizza was like a pizza in 3D. It had so much taste depth that... I can't even explain it. Cheese, sauce, dough... I still possess it. My husband had a New York Strip Steak that was cooked to medium-sized rare perfection, and he cleaned his plate, but... He liked my four cheese pizzas better. And he doesn't. Cheese, pizza. What's in the PIZZA?! Our waitress Leanne was personal, extremely efficient and really friendly! And at 8 a.m. on Friday the place was booked. But she stopped like crazy and... I mentioned she recommended the four cheese pizzas? Honestly, I was and am so euphoric today that I tried to smile at STOP so much because I thought people would think I was crazy. I never eat cheese pizza again. Note to the page: We never said it was our anniversary or something, but it was like we... and the staff went out of the way to make it special! No, they're just so great. Leanne also recommended the Tiramisu and the white wine cake. And they were both very good. I don't understand how everything here is so delicious! So basically... I'm going to a food skoma and don't regret anything. *Edit - it can look end up as I eat 20 meals in a visit, but I only add photos to this review every time I go!"

"Embedded along the PCH, Maro Wood Grill is a place I came by, but fortunately one evening my friends and I sat for an early evening meal and refreshments. We were happy that we made it! It was a bit smart on the warmer side temperature and our server brought our pitcher from Sangria, which was only beaten by the taste. Also the funny thing was how the evening continued our server refilled our glasses, so we lost track of how often we refreshed through the evening is Maros Sangria ...big service! The Grilled Fennel Fig Salad gave my palette well, as the Ricotta Noquis with grilled tomatoes. It followed Maro’s own “Oyster Rockefeller” where my taste buds could really identify with Maro’s wood grill technique. I must confess that I could not allow a morsel to slip away with this course, as I even remember eating through the burned lemon wedge by chance! It was just so good. Since I am a fan boy of the Carnivore world, Maros Mequite Lamb and his delicate short rib dishes were choices that appreciate my Paleo-ish style of food...unga-Bunga on these meat dishes, Maro! Since more Sangria helped to send my fine kitchen to my stomach, we were treated with Maros Chef in our dining area to us a history of the Maros cooking style, and of course his prestigious accolades. It was no wonder that our dessert had won the Golden Foodie Award again for the evening as my taste buds were thrilled. It seems that I wasn't in the minority, like maybe a week after our visit to Maro, our Dessert received a three-Peat Golden Foodie Award! I look forward to visiting Maro and treating my wife to a special evening of fine cuisine in a beautiful casual atmosphere, with an award-winning team and service! Thank you. Maro Wood Grill and we'll see you soon!"
