"Just went for the first time and really enjoyed ourselves. The first impression was good the host had a warm smile and we saw a lot of happy looking diners. The art on the walls was really unusual and cool, and when we got to our booth beneath a graffiti pig, I saw that the artist's name was listed on a little plaque so we looked him up and saw that he's from Laurel. Very cool that they support local artists! Then we picked up the beer menu and were happy to see a decent range of craft selections, including some local breweries (I really liked the Blood Orange Blonde from Mully's in Prince Frederick). Our waitress was brand new, but she did a great job she was so friendly and genuine, knew a lot about the menu, and didn't leave us hanging for drink refills. We had the brussel sprout app, which was a good start. We had burgers for our meal, and they were done exactly the way we requested them (I was especially impressed that the bacon was crispy just the way I asked I always ask for crispy and so many places give me floppy bacon). It was all delicious. My only disappointment was that we were so full that we didn't have room for the Smith Island Cake for dessert so I'll have to get that next time. For the two of us, it was $60, which is a little more than we usually pay for a dinner out here in Laurel but we agreed that it was WELL worth it. This place is a cut above most of the other restaurants around here, and we're definitely adding it to our list of regular date night spots."
