"Their website suggested reservations and so we made them ... they were completely unnecessary. The restaurant wasn't really crowded, but they put us at a table near and extremely large party which meant we waited 10 15 minutes to have a server come over and take our drink order. I'm not sure if this is a post-pandemic thing or not but menus aren't provided, a broken tablet was shared, but for quicker service, it was suggested that we use our cell phones and scan the qr-code to see the menu and place our order. Admittedly, I am a little Tech challenged so needed help accessing their menu which was annoying. All ended well with an attentive server who got us a working tablet, a delish Chicago-style deep dish pizza and a shared hot fudge sundae. We will definately return for a taste of Chicago in Ann Arbor!"

"We enjoyed this very homey place where everything is new and clean. Designed with down-to-earth style and tablecloths made from natural fabric. The chef makes everything from scratch, such as home made bread, herbal butter as well as different salads including vegan gluten free dishes. Its very convenient for working families to have a home made meal right after work and it's affordable too. The staff is very friendly and not overbearing; service is great! Loved it!"

"That was my first visit, and you didn't disappoint us. I was apart from a dinner party and we all got our food at the same time thanks for our great server Jimmy. "My sister took me to The Clinton House for dinner last night. She wanted me to try the food for my birthday. We had to drive almost 90 minutes to get there. I doubted it would be worth the drive. I was wrong! It was fabulous! Our server was a delight. He was so friendly and attentive. I ordered the Beef Wellington. I have not had that particular dish in years because it tends to be hard to find. Loved it!! Added a side of the Mashed Potatoes. They were also very delicious. The whole experience was delightful and I'm now plotting how to talk my husband into making the 90 minute trip(each way) for our anniversary dinner. I have 3 months. I'm working on it."

"You know you've had a great experience when there is quiet at a table of chatty librarians. We had the famous fried green tomatoes, which were light with 2 delicious sauces; one gravy, the other a chipotle sauce. I really enjoyed the c chipotle sauce with fried green tomatoes, because it had a bit of a spicy kick to it. (The fgt came with the yummiest cheese grits). I had the yummy chicken waffles (also with yummy cheese grits also blueberries on the side), which with sauces added some really good layers of flavor. I tried them all. Did I mention our waitress was very patient and friendly? A superb experience!"

"McFadden's is an Irish pub located between two of Town Square's more popular bars Yard House and Blue Martini. It is a hit or miss kind of place. When it's a hit it's packed. There's people inside and outside. Their food like their burgers and chicken wings look and taste good. They utilize the entire establishment, the various bars and dining areas, beer pong. There's a DJ or two and girls on top the bar counters. Service is excellent, fast, and their happy to serve you. The environment is so good that when your party wants to leave you stay after saying goodbye to them. Of course this has to be only when there's an event or something because I've also been here when a lot of what seemed good above weren't. The burgers seemed smaller and a mess, wings were kind of tiny and overcooked. They would take forever to bring food and drinks. Some of employees seemed like they didn't want to be there or if we asked them for something we were bothering them. Occasionally it would be so dead that you want to leave before happy hour is over. The inconsistency just kills me I'll write this place off then I'll have a really good experience, come back then get another bad experience. I'll be back, have been, so hopefully next time it'll be a good one."

"From the moment we went, we received excellent service. The employees and servers were very attentive to our needs and the manager ensured that we had a good experience. When one of our parties sent a steak back to be cooked a little more, he apologized and when it was brought back, he contained a newly baked potato to go with it so that it could be enjoyed warm with the steak. "Service at the restaurant was very good. The hostess was also our server as we were the first and only guests dining from 4 5pm. Lovely setting. Oddly, we were seated by the kitchen service door with staff coming in and out even though there was literally every other table available away from the door where we could have been seated. The Venetian Old Fashioned was very well crafted and I would recommend it. Silverware looked like it was from a school cafeteria; didn’t match, bent prong and covered with water spots. The house salad bagged salad mix with bagged shredded cheddar, cucumber and tomato was not what you would expect at such an establishment. The blue cheese dressing was good but served on the side in a disposable plastic container with a plastic lid. The entree was described as a crusted Florida grouper with pineapple salsa and orzo. There was no orzo to be found and the grouper was a very thin cut with a soggy breadcrumb coating, pineapple salsa and another plastic container with some tartar sauce. Our sides were the southern green beans which were largely mush and the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese which tasted fine but was cold. Finally, we shared a piece of chocolate cake which had a rich flavor though a little dry and hard. I hesitated to post a negative review in that I truly want to see quality local businesses flourish. Sadly, the attempt to be a fine dining experience missed the mark. That being said, they do have a pub and perhaps that is more successful and something I’ll try in the future."

"I attended Sunday brunch at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, with the server easily answering all of our questions, keeping our drinks filled, being prompt, and friendly. "Just add a quick note to my previous review... I was in 815 Chop House several times and always had a great experience. Both the service and the food were consistently great. Yesterday we took a friend out of town. I had the peppercorn encrusted pork. OMG!!! It was one of the best meals I ever had in a restaurant. The meat was so delicate and tasteful. I had the others at my table trying it and they all agreed it was phenomenal. Next time I command the same thing and I keep it myself! Original... Three couples had our first culinary experience on the 815 Chop House on Labor Day weekend. It was quite unanimous that the food was excellent, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. I had the ribbed eye and it was delicious! The fry Twists, basically their version of the French frits, were phenomenal! Next time I try the Walleye, who also got very high marks from our group. I made reservations for a small family meeting in a few weeks."
