"I ordered the Mahi-Mahi Poblano, which is a great deal at $12, assuming it’s actually Mahi-Mahi and not just a name on the menu. It was delicious and came with a creamy Poblano sauce that I really enjoyed. The rice and black beans that accompanied the dish were also tasty. I added a generous amount of salt to the Poblano sauce, while my bowl of sauce on the side was steaming hot, and I loved that! Although they did charge me for the extra sauce on the side, I can't really complain because it's fair.
The complimentary chips and salsa were enjoyable, with the chips tasting fresh and the red salsa being well-seasoned. The Pollo Poblano was also good, prepared with the same sauce I liked, and my special request to have it without onions was fulfilled perfectly, which I appreciated. The warm flour tortillas that came with our meal were delicious as well.
On our first visit, I remember speaking highly of each dish to the manager, so I have only positive things to say about both visits. I definitely recommend this place, especially since I can be picky about my meals. My wife, who is usually very critical, enjoyed it too, so that speaks volumes.
However, I do have one complaint. I noticed in another review that someone received complimentary sopapillas from the manager. We were given them during our first visit too, but now I realize I'm not as special as I thought! Unfortunately, the sopapillas we received this time were stale and unacceptable. If you encounter bad sopapillas, don’t hesitate to send them back."
