"I can't believe people actually PAY to be insulted at Dicks Last Resort at the Inner Harbor when they can just come here(in a fun way). While this place is a dive, its a CLEAN dive, the bar maid FLASH keeps this nook spotless. The people are down to earth and the prices affordable. This seems to appeal to an older or mature crowd. Pre Covid, they have karaoke. FLASH who typically works Sunday and Thursday is the former owner of Weenies World in Dundalk. She NEVER lets you go dry, always making sure that you have a drink in front of you. The bathroom stalls have curtains instead of doors (so funny). Pre Covid they offer cornhole tournaments on their parking lot. There is hall space upstairs for rent if you are looking for a place to hold a private party. They have a liquor store attached. FLASH will keep good ole fashion rock n roll music playing here. She tolerates zero rif-raf! FLASH keeps you laughing and if we are lucky, we can catch her filling in for someone on a Friday or Saturday. The bar in the past has been known to have guest bartender night for charities. If you are ever in Essex and a lover of DIVE bars-you must stop here! It kind of reminds me of parying with friends in the basement. They offer the football game on Sunday but while this spot is located in Baltimore and there is a revolving door of Raven fans, it's Steeler Nation when Flash works. During all the COVID restrictions in place and reduced capacity(all the depressing inconveniences) if there is only 8 customers in Harveys, you will still have fun when FLASH is working. Right now masks are required when you leave your seat in this bar. They serve a very small menu of fast pub food here. You will never leave this place without a funny story to share later about your visit if FLASH was your barmaid."
