"I advised my son not to eat here. It felt like we were in Bayonne or Jersey City, where you can actually get good food. The shrimp dish he had smelled off, and even the crispy noodles they sold in a bag were stale. They charged a lot for them—$1.75 just for the egg roll, which wasn't good either. "My family and I have been ordering from Hunan Star for over 8 years and not one time have we been disappointed! Their food is always served hot and yummy! Hands down the best Chinese/Asian food in town! If you ever get tired of just doing take-out, I’d recommend actually dining in! The service is amazing and we never leave hungry. "1. Asked for brown rice on one order and was given regular white rice colored brown with soy sauce!2. The Beef with scallions and ginger was mostly regular onions, hardly any scallions, and no ginger at all!3. The Cold Noodles with Sesame Sauce has hardly any sesame flavor at all, and no longer comes with sliced cucumbers.4. If you order take out soup, you have to remind them to put the dry noodles.5. Take out orders used to come with a fortune cookie I guess not anymore!6. Will be looking for another restaurant next time!"
