"Best place in the Quarter for charbroiled oysters (I've been to sooo many places). Great food, large portions and compared to other more popular and well-known places, prices are equal to or less than those. The oysters on my fried fish and oyster platter were some of the largest, sweetest and plentiful. We're used to paying the same price for half as much at other establishments We had great service, we sat at the bar which is our favorite place to sit at most establishments. Our bartender was super friendly, funny as hell, and fast. He not only kept us entertained but as the only bartender on tonight, kept up with the constant stream of drink tickets, most heavily with the popular NOLA cocktails but he knew by heart other cocktails that he delivered quickly. We really enjoyed watching the interaction of the servers and staff with him and the other customers. Everyone was friendly and efficient with one exception who seemed to be having an off night. The manager wasn't happy and did take her aside. Other than the one server, we enjoyed the joking and banter between the staff and what appeared to be local regulars."
