"Cosy and intimate Italian restaurant with great seafood and steak dishes. I recently visited my friend's birthday. We forgot to make a reservation in advance, but were happy to find out that they had many of the same daily availability. Compared to other bustling places in North End, the place had a more relaxed atmosphere, and we could sneak a private stand that is a rarity in the area. We started with the antipasto board and spicy mussels, the excellent pairings with the wine we were ordered. Chorizo in the shells added to the tomato stew a beautiful fleshy taste, and we were all addicted to its rich aromas. From the Entrées were our favorites of the fish stew and the Kalbsporterhouse. The rich aromas of the Marsala sauce were great supplements to delicate meat, and the stew also had a beautiful burst of Umami flavor that felt almost too good to be extracted from natural ingredients. Nevertheless, it was not too overwhelming, and we wiped the court clean. Warm chocolate bread pudding was also a great finale for our meal, and our last birthday dinner plan was successful."
