"Mission accomplished. Set up to eat great sushi for dinner and this location did not disappoint. The miso soup was nice and warm. (Could have had more tofu and/or seaweed) ?The chicken skewers (2) were tasty and flavorful. The sushi rolls ?were fresh and tasty. The topper was the drinks. The mule was good and the Old Fashioned was awesome. Not for immature drinkers ??Overall: foods was fresh, flavorful with a great atmosphere and waitresses (Zoey).Side note: it was a little too dark in the restaurant.Parking: Parking is designated and located across the street. Not the main street."

"Phat Boy Sushi Kitchen Bar is very good. When entering, a huge wine rack is left. The bar is right in front of you with enough seats and around the bar, and if available you can even sit outside. The main dining room is located behind the bar with the restaurant motto at the back wall. We ordered hot-sake and platinum cold-sake and a glass riesling. We ordered 2 spider crab rolls, sharp tuna roll and 1 more I can't think. The sushi is excellent. A big plus to Phat Boy Sushi is that it is open until 12 a.m. daily! Come here for great sushi and drinks. Great atmosphere."

"that was my first dinner experience in yakuza, I brought my son his wife and child and all loved everything. eating was some of the best we had in a long time. you make the best fried kalamary and I always said just greek make the best, but now you are. the service was perfect, our waitress was very friendly and very good to explain everything on the menu. the restaurant itself needs a bit private sphere perhaps some open panels to separate other sections than that everything was perfect, but a bit loud. we will recommend their rest and we will be back. thanks for the great food."

"Beautiful ambience, friendly staff and a huge menu, what is not to like? You have monthly specials that are always interesting. Ramen is delicious and perfect for lunch on a cold day. Other favorites of me are the unajyu (Eel served over rice) and beef negimaki (Rind wrapped around scalions) You also have private tatami rooms for larger parties where you need to take off your shoes, but they will need a reservation on weekends."

"Food was good. But then when I had spent 140 I was charged 2.5% to use a credit card. I was charged 1 elsewhere to use a credit card (German place not too far away). So, no big deal I guess. But it is 2023, right? So, I’ll go elsewhere and see if the next guy does the same. Maybe if they add .10 to every dish they won’t need to charge people for spending money. It’s not the money as much as it put me off bc I’m already dropping 140 bucks on dinner. Seemed really petty. One could say I’m being petty. But I tipped 20cash to the sushi chef and 20% to the wait staff. So, they can have the 2.5% and I’ll go have German food."

"2/3 of my platewas white rice and the only vegetable was wet lettuce. Meats were soaking in generic tasting sauce. One dish was so wet with unnecessary sauce you needed a spoon to eat the rice underneath.The shop is showing it's age with faded signs covered with printer paper add-on dishes.I can only assume the good reviews are from long time customers as anyone new would walk out quickly the menu is all over the plate. Bentos are very small part of the menu despite the name.I've had the same meal for less elsewhere. The grill food items are very good so go with the teriyaki and skip the fried items as the sauce is sour."

"This is a smallish, friendly retaurant on a back street in Coral Gables that i go to I'd sayevery 6-8 weeks. The food is great. Just about every dish I've ever had is very good. It's pan-Asian, so a nice selection of dishes. I don;t eat sushi (which theyhave a whole menu of) but they have a few vegetarian rolls that I enjoy. I recommend Yuga. Its nothing fancy nor is it the best place ever, but its nice, moderately priced, and has consistently good food."

"We had the kanitama, which was crab omelet on a hot pan, and it was SO GOOD. Loved it a lot, it was a creative texture I haven’t had in a long time too. I thought the chicken katsu though was a bit too thick––hard to chew on the inside. The miso soup is good but overall I wasn’t that impressed with the dish. We came in at like 7:30 but we were able to get a table and the service is friendly and fast."
