"Sekiya’s is one of those old school local eateries that everyone knows about, but seems to be losing relevancy for a variety of reasons. It was my first visit to this place despite having grown up here and the clientele was mostly older folks. It smelled kind of funny in here, sort of like old, wet rags. The menu is extensive with mostly Japanese and local dishes. I got the large saimin, which tasted alright but had less that what I thought a large would have, especially for the price. Service was a bit slow, but friendly."
