"my family and I enjoy haru sushi (now iiumi sushi) for three years. I think we discovered them first when the pandemic met and we wanted to eat fresh quality sushi from the safety of our house. haru had amazing quality to reasonable trips and offered delicious fish and sides to compliment. as they can see, our family can eat haha and the portions here are very full. for the Bento boxes they have sweet little sides that require their warm, crispy and pickel. it is all very well balanced and they will be full, only not always of the sashimi alone. for the Sashimi/Sushi tablets they will always be full and satisfied by the Sashimi/sushi alone, but they will also have many other wonderful side dishes if they want a break from the fish and also works super as lunch for the next day. some of our favorite pages are the brussel sprouts and the shrimp-Udon salad. very tasty and sometimes I just want to order this dinge although it is a sushi restaurant. although they always change their names (this is the third name change we have met) price was always very fair for the amount of food they get and quality was always good. I recommend this restaurant for celebration or just a casual nice lunch. eating is very picnic friendly. the only part is that with eating, I think the service was just okay. if the memory serves me correctly, we had a really nice waitress and an rude waiter another time."

"We were drawn to Mika by the pictures of beautiful presentation online and the respectable 4.6 rating, but we were ultimately very disappointed with the quality of the sushi. We ordered the spicy salmon, spider roll, volcano roll and the flower rolls.The tempura shrimp in the spider roll had a funky taste and the spicy salmon was utterly tasteless. The other two rolls werebetter, but despite looking good, they still tasted no better than pre-packed rolls you could find in a foodcourt. Additionally their water tasted metallic, making me feel as if it came straight from the tap without any kind offiltration at all. Makes me concerned about lead content. Overall, tasteless generic sushi with good presentation. If you're inThornton, skip it and go to Matsumoto."

"Apparently Yama Sushi is a local chain. I'm not sure if one person or a business that owns all of them. There are three locations, this one is the newest and also one of the closer AYCE Sushi spots to the Strip: Located just North of the Strip, heading towards downtown located in a plaza north of the Wynn. Great location IMHO, a nice spot to attract good amount of local and tourist traffic.I was surprised it wasn't all that busy when we came here for dinner. Nothing to complain about...good standard AYCE menu. Our food came out fast, everything tasted fresh and we didn't have any issues with anything. The service was on point; our waitress checked up on us regularly without being bothersome or overbearing; refilled our beverages, took away empty dishes and checked up on us regularly. Wonderful service; fast friendly. The first time I came here; when I ordered the Sweet Shrimp my waitress asked me if I wanted the head of the Sweet Shrimp Fried! "I was served by Nicole today and received terrible service. She didn’t want to provide the table with refills and gave us a hard time when we asked for spicy mayo and sriracha. Almost as if she wanted to say there was already spicy mayo and sriracha on the sushi roll. She never came to check on us and ask how the food was and when she dropped off the bill.. Nicole never came back. Do better Nicole. I am typically very generous with tips however I won’t tip someone who treats myself and my guest like we are bugging them."

"Sloppy Mommas catered a pig roast for an event my husband and I hosted, and it was the best decision we could have made. Joe and Freddie were absolutely fantastic! They made the entire process easy and enjoyable. The food was incredible! Everything—from the pork and pulled chicken to the cornbread, potato salad, mac and cheese, pickles, and sauces—was exceptionally delicious! I would definitely hire them again for any future events, and I highly recommend that you do too!"

"The one star is for the yum yum sauce. Since it was the only tasty part of my order. The chicken tastes like it was over seasoned with onion and garlic and tossed in an air fryer or instant pot, whichever way it definitely wasn’t grilled. The rice definitely wasn’t fresh. Tastes as if it was prepared 2 days before and given as if it was on its last use and they were just trying to get rid of it. Reviews have to be bought or this place is just a hit or miss and it missed with my food. I ought to be paid for consuming it. I want my money back because how does one mess up a simple hibachi chicken meal. Taste like it was added to the menu by accident and I paid for a practice meal."
