"After moving to Roxbury, I struggled to find a local Chinese food place that had great fried rice, as they were all plain or not great tasting. Along came Golden Chef's flyer in my mailbox and it all changed for the better.Chinese food is my guilty pleasure, and I order it almost on a weekly basis. I have been ordering delivery from Golden Chef for about 3 years now. So much so that their driver will wonder what's going on if I go too long without ordering. (no shame)In any case, they've recently decided to switch to doordash delivery only, and not having their own delivery option. Not only does this remove their free menu options, but the extra cost tacked on the food, and the ridiculous delivery fees they charge increase the costs by over 50%, which is unjustifiable.I will continue to get food here once in a while when I have the time to pick up the food as I enjoy it so much, but it won't be anywhere near as often, and I may just go back to picking stuff up in Chinatown which was excellent, but much less convenient."
