"Food and drinks were good. Shrimp tacos were very tasty. This is our second time going to the Santa Monica Kalaveras and it is a large space and on both visits there were mostly empty tables. I don 't know how much longer they can continue staying in business with so view diners. It certainly does not have a a happening and upbeat vibe . Too bad as it is in a great spot."

"We decided to try this place out since it was nearby. We found the ambiance to be very nice and the music gave us a party feel when we arrived. We were promptly seated and served. There are 80 or so rums on the menu and if you are chasing down some rare and hard to find rums, this is your place! The food on the other hand was not good. It was obvious to us it has been pre-prepared in advance and then slightly warmed before putting it on the plate. By the time the food arrived at the table it was a temperature slightly warmer than room temperature. It was a place we really wanted to like but have no plans of returning."

"Paladar always has good reasonably priced food for the area. Our waiter was attentive and courteous. This place is great for lunch as it is more quiet then and you can talk. If you like it more lively, come on a weekend evening. I been here many times and we've never had any bad food. I recommend as 2 thumbs up."

"I made a reservation for our anniversary, they called to confirm! The staff was so accommodating from the moment we walked in. The sides were delectable (mushroom risotto was so yummy! and the salad bar was fresh and stocked. They took pride in the beauty of the experience right down to the salt and pepper grinders on each table. I was so amazed at the quality of the food. Each and every piece of red meat I tasted was decadent and mouth watering. The sea food was flavored to perfection. The passadors were so helpful and happy! We had a wonderful time!!"

"The Food is really delicious! I gave it a four-star because the service is very, very slow. We liked the food so much, that we returned with some other friends in less than a week. There is a TORO restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, that we have gone to numerous times. Excellent! There is also one in Scottsdale that we are planning to go to. The restaurants are the same owners, but the they have slightly different names."

I celebrated my birthday with family and friends on 2nd november. our server was isabella and she was professional, attentive and friendly! she made the experience great! the young man on the host table greeted us with a smile and the manager even came out to ask if I wanted to put my birthday cupcakes in the kitchen until we were ready to eat them! this is a great location, close to a parking garage and they feel safe to foot around. Thanks for Paladar staff to make sure this is a great birthday dinner and celebrate."

"The food at Toro was excellent. I had the Havana Roll and the Rainbow Tropical Roll and both were excellent. I also had their heirloom tomato and burrata salad— very good. My father ordered the wedge salad scallops and Pork belly entree which he enjoyed quite a bit. It was very very loud inside the restaurant so we found our conversation overpowered by the ambient noise level. When we asked if we could move outside they said they were not able to accommodate due to the incoming reservations specifically requesting outside tables. However, throughout the entirety of our meal there were several open, unseated, tables outside. Toro would be a great choice for a large, energetic party. I would not recommend it if you’re wanting an intimate dining experience."

"As someone from New York City, I am very particular about pizza, but I have to say that Wise Guys consistently serves delicious pizza and calzones. The crust is always perfect, indicating that the dough they use is top-notch. I ordered a special pizza tonight but requested it as a calzone, and it was amazing. There wasn't a single bite left! "We chose this restaurant because of its service , food and atmosphere. We arrived and the hostess greeted us well. However, upon seating she placed us by the door. We asked if we could sit at another table because the peopleIn the party we’re very tall and sitting right at the door would be an issue. The young woman snapped at us staring it will be minutes and walked away. For over minutes we were left standing on the patio and the person NEVER came back to tell us what’s going on. My sadness because I’ve loved this place. Me and my friends spend a lot of money here and we often recommend this place. The food outstanding. Eventually the waiter took care of us. But a nite the white folks recieved their food before us and came in hour after us. We had to ask for everything."

"I went to Rubi Agave for the first time and was not sure what to expect. I heard there was a bar, DJ and a dance floor. What I thought would be a rather relaxed and simple setup, turned out to be very LIVE! There was a lot of energy and everyone seemed to have a FREE time. "Service is always fabulous! We like to go early, so parking does not become an issue. We MISS the roasted chicken, but the parmesan crusted cutlets are not a bad replacement. Not big fans of the celery salad as a side, but the beef tartare is an excellent appetizer that is big enough for a meal for me! LOVE the salted caramel pudding for dessert!"
