"I hate to have to come here and post this because we love Daan sushi, but here’s what happened to us just now. As frequent customers we never have had any issues and the foods always been good. We ordered 4 sushi rolls last night and a few minutes into eating them realized they were not good. Noticed the salmon was brown (not smoked) and it was chewy. Let me say again we have had sushi from here multiple times and it’s been great so we knew something wasn’t right so we took a pic and threw it out. Went to get our refund the next day as they were already closed for the night, took our pic and receipt, and they argued with us the entire time. Told us they make fresh sushi only, asked my boyfriend (during covid times) to come smell the salmon and look at it. Then said only one roll seemed to look bad according to the pic AND GAVE A $10 GIFTCARD when we spent $70. Unbelievable they would treat their customers and recurring customers at that this way. We supported them multiple times throughout the pandemic for them to not take care of their customers. I would not recommend coming here or getting their sushi."
