"we were thrilled to make our first visit to gyu kako. we enjoyed our meal, but the service has spoiled our visit. we were inexperienced with the restaurant and how it works. our server gave us a quick overview and scanned. when we ordered a medium-sized meal, we were offered an upgrade to the meat. when the meal arrived, we had six or more different meats without indicating what was. we ordered a bottle of pinot grigio just to learn that they were from this wein. our server then found a bottle, but it was not cooled so they offered to put it on ice for us. it delivered it in a pitcher full of ice water. that was great, but she never offered to pour the wine and if we tried ourselves, the ice water would spill on the table. we had not enough serviettes to clean up the water. it took one because before another server noticed the not and brought some paper napkins. Nevertheless, our eating was good, the salad was fresh and crisp, the meat and sauces we taste, but we are not yet sure what was. one of them had a lot gristle. it will take a while before we try it again."
