"Great time a Berber a Moroccan themed restaurant with live entertainment. It’s a small intimate setting with table surrounding a circular stage. Would recommend for a double date night. Pros: Performers were outstanding, truly an incredible visual experience that transported you to the depths of the Sahara. Drink menu is excellent. Cons: Not great for people with allergies, as the menu is pre fix when doing the dining experience. They make special accommodations for allergies but honestly it wasn’t as creative as the regular menu which is disappointing. On top of that, small portions and food was just okay. Expensive."

"The staff was attentive, the food was delicious and reasonably priced for the portion sizes. The staff and management demonstrated that they cared about our experience and did not rush us. The dishes were timed well and allowed us to enjoy a leisurely meal without feeling rushed. The menu offers a variety of authentic dishes, making it a great choice for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for couples. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"This restaurant experience was terrible. My group of 5 arrived and were seated at a table for 4, and we were required to pay $125 on a credit card. The salad we ordered had a supermarket sticker on one of the pears. Two of our group members left before the third arrived, and then the fourth arrived 10 minutes later. The service was slow and disorganized, with no clear courses before our group members left. The "sticker salad" was not removed from the bill until I requested it. The only decent thing we tried was the broth dives, but they only provided enough broth for 2 people and charged for extra broth. They did offer us free desserts to make up for the unpleasant experience, but overall it was not worth it."

"I've been planning to visit Omar's Carriage House for ages now, but I don't get over to Norfolk very often from Newport News. Made a special trip over the water to hit up some of my wishlist locales for my birthday―SO glad we made it to Omar's! Food was fantastic, service was prompt and professional. Shout-out to everyone in the kitchen for a wonderful meal, as well as our awesome server Ben, who was not only well-informed and knowledgeable, but also very welcoming and accommodating. (Plus, the tip-off about the Pagoda Garden was spot-on; not only was it full of Pokémon as promised, but a gorgeous place we had never been to. Thanks to all involved for an excellent experience and great cap to my special day! :D"

"My daughter and son brought me here for a birthday dinner. OMG, I can't explain how fresh and delicious the food tasted. Hands down the best Moroccan food I've ever experienced. The last time we were here, which was our first time ever, we had the veggie burger. Because it was So Wicked Delicious , we got 2 to go! Which is what we did, again today! We Love the Leaf Ginger ! "Consistently Great!. We visited the Saffron Cafe last night and although we didn't have a reservation, we were seated immediately. We started with the Saffron Mussels and Mozzarella Plate both fantastic. My husband had the Tajine Lamberel (lamb slow cooked with eggplant and he loved it. As in, give me that bread I'm soaking this up loved it. I had the Tilapia Tajine even though I've been here several times, I've never had a tajine dish and it was so tender. All around a great dinner. And our service was excellent. I didn't ask the young lady for her name but she was awesome. Saffron Cafe offers Groupons about twice a year I highly recommend you get one. It can be a bit pricey without some sort of deal, but the Groupon usually covers 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 servings of baklava and 2 glasses of wine. And they will definitely work with you to get what you want (i.e. instead of 2 glasses of wine, they took $20 off a bottle. Newcomers park on the SOUTH side of the building (marked for the Antelope Club."

"This place was AMAZING on every level, the service was A1 from the time I arrived to when I left. Food was really delicious, the staff was so polite. "pasha land had two padlocks at the doors and was closed, although open table confirmed my reservation and continued the availability of reservations. also, pasha land was considered a recommended local favorite dining place on the same day as I made the reservation even though it was no longer open. it was very disappointing to come to the restaurant and find it closed!"

"First time for our family to try Moroccan food. The atmosphere was colorful and comfortable. The service was always available and came to our table often to check on us. The food was not over season and had unique flavors different than I was use to but very good. I enjoyed the warm mint tee that I drank during my meal that had more flavor than just mint tee. A large order came with additional small serving glasses for others to share. The bread was awesome, we all enjoyed every dish we had and shared our food to enjoy trying different dishes. I would recommend this place and I look forward to returning,"
