"we came with low expectations because of the bad reviews we had seen on the line. it was worse than we imagined. the cheeseburgers were good. the pommes were delicious. but the service was slow and angry. the low point was told by the server that two different 40/$45 bottles of wine we asked were sold out. when we complained to the manager, he said they had a lot. uninformed server or wanted to sell us? I wouldn't expect a st regis property either. the resort is delightful, but like another one, it is in our mutual golf cart trip back to the main hotel from dinner they feel claustrophobic because there are so few restaurants to choose from. they are trapped so they can treat them, but please. oh and have I mentioned the air conditioning that drips on my man? I would stay in san juan am vanderbilt."
