"I and a friend drove acron around the midday and we were happy to stop in this jewel. it was very busy, but the personal treated the haste hour very well. the grilled sandwiches were excellent and made with carefree. there were big parts. we were filled when we were gone. the workers were very pleasant. the restaurant is very small, but the large quantity accommodated. it seemed that some of the customers ordered and left and others stayed. there are stands and small tables. we enjoyed our lunch and would stay back when we are back in the opposite."

"We were in town not from the area and looking for a delicious pizza. Popped up on Google so we said screw it let's go. We walked up door was locked because they do dine in by reservations only. Well as qe walk away the owner said he would buzz us in since no one was booked. Yes score. We looked at the menu and was blown away by the price and options. We order deep fried banana peppers. "We got the chicken burrata parmigiana to go and it was absolutely delicious!! The chicken was juicy and the cream sauce paired well with the tomatoes. The dinner was packaged in a sturdy tupperware and wrapped in plastic wrap to ensure nothing spilled anywhere. Since the pandemic started we order to go options more than we sit down at a restaurant now and this is by far the best to go packaging I’ve seen. Fantastic customer service we will be back!!"

"Very hospitable, spoke to the young lady who took my order and had informed me about the phone before my visit, what was available, prices and so on. I am from NC and lived there a majority of my life. With the best BBQ manufacturers in the world and with a name like Old Carolina, I expected at least something comparable. It was spectacular, the smell in the air of the restaurant was an amazing addition to the atmosphere of the facility and the friendly demeanor of the staff really helped. On food, I ordered for $14 a two meat plate that I baked beans, Mac's cheese, and they give a side of corn bread. The meat was pulled pork. It is served dry and they have a sauce bar where you can choose your own sauce. I'm from Piedmont when I saw there was a sauce that claimed the name I had to try. I wasn't disappointed by the smallest, the meat was cooked very well, you can really say that they were in the process of a 12 hours smoke, the sauce tasted like at home. I have lived in OH for two years and can say faithfully that this was the best $14 I have spent in my time in OH on food so far. I would highly recommend if you want a good NC style BBQ to give this restaurant a shot. I forgot to make a picture of my meal before, but could not help me dig right in."

"the breakfast was always egg-celled. had the country breakfast bowl, the kartoffels, tweeping, green paprika, spice with a wurstpatty, 2 eggs (they decide the style) and cheese (they decide the type of cheese) and toast (more possibilities.) I asked that they replace speck instead of the wurstpatty, which was a good choice. I would have the potatoes that cooked well or crispy. that was nothing from the server or the kitchen. I forgot to ask and I know it would have cost better if I remember. service was fantastic. the food came out quickly and was hot. we arrived at 0950 on a Sunday and we could choose between indoor and outdoor kitchen. at the latest 10 o'clock and they can wait for a table at the end."

I really enjoyed my pizza, as well as all the others in my group! they offer a medium-sized vegan pizza. it is 10 inches, 6 discs. there is no additional fee for vegan teig or cheese! all vegan pizzas come with follow your heart mozzarella. they do not offer vegan meat at this time, but they have a veganized white pizza on the menu! the crust was delicious and homemade tasteful. I liked both their traditional soak and garlic olive oil. I'll be back soon!"

"The first time in this place and glad we did. Hubby had the New York Strip. It was made on his request, perfect, tender and juicy. I had the Lobster Cakes and Blackened Salmon. Delicious! The Lobster Cake appetizers came with a kind of lemon garlic butter aioli, which was a perfect sauce for diving. Besides the wonderful food, our server was very attentive, helpful and friendly. She often came to our table to ask how we did and when we needed something, although they were very busy with what seemed to be a larger group of people in the back. Great food, great service and everything in a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back!"

"in the years we have been dining several times at the Cleveland locations. eating and service is always top notch. this was our first experience with dba and we were looking forward to more of the same. our server, sarah, was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They made good suggestions on the basis of our asking and commentary. the servants of the supervisor were also there to clarify the courses and to fill them again after need. the evening was good step and relaxed. our meals were good, although we all agreed that they did not meet the usual dantes standard. that was not the reason for our disappointment with the experience. the departure came at 10:00 a.m. when the kitchen closed and the atmosphere changed from the upmarket restaurant to college bar. the terrace seats were occupied by what seemed to be friends of the staff and bartender. the high five and screaming and liquor began to flow. the personal was fast to delete the tables empty mud cans and collect the leak so they could start their Saturday evening party. the music came up and we paid our jacks and left. the restaurant is attached to a hotel complex and not far from a college campus, so maybe this is the vibe dante was for, but we will stay at the Cleveland sites in the future and leave the party to the college crowd."

"There was a hair melted into the cheese on my chicken sandwich. When I told the waitress, she instantly got an attitude and stormed off with my plate. After about 20 minutes she returned with another employee and handed me what looked like a ‘tray’ of food you’d receive in prison. The sandwich wasn’t heated or seasoned at all this time, and I found it weird that it took two employees to bring it to me. I ended up just feeding it to my dog. Definitely won’t be going back there ever again!"

"If an unfortunate turn of life events ended with me having to request my last meal, I'm 100% certain it would be Steak Brown with Garlic Whipped Potatoes Flourless Chocolate Cake to finish. To die for. EDIT 9/25/18: As a regular I can say this location has declined in quality greatly since I posted this 3 years ago. Portions are skimpier things like the onion straws that used to come with every steak have been removed. Getting a steak to your correct doneness is hit or miss. Service seems to be slipping as well, less professional. It's still better than most, but it might be time to find a new go-to."

Larry also tried to cut corners during the COVID. You still have reasonable meals and drinks. Not only Larry's price is good, you get a lot of well-processed food and drinks. You will still have no fancy white tablecloths, but everything else is amazing. You won't miss Larry here, it's by far one of the best places in Akron."

"We asked Sweet Mary’s to make cookies for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower and they were amazing. Orange Creamsicle, lemon lavender and matcha tea macarons that were beautiful and delicious. And the cutout cookies decorated in a pink and gold theme were unelievable. Little bottles, hats, carriages, onsies and little wrapped boxes were decorated with such loving detail that they were almost too pretty to eat! But eat them we did and they were heavenly. Everyone loved them! Sweet Mary’s is the best and will always have all my bakery business! Thank you to Mary, Pat and all the staff! Great job!"
