"I love coming here with the hubby for a nice meal in a quiet atmosphere with really the best food around. If you're looking for something different in the San Gabriel Valley, come here and try out the fare.Some of it is Asian fusion but my go-to is the garlic shrimp mashed potatoes. Over rice is also really good. The beurre blanc is perfect, headier than usual here, with tart capers and thyme. The mashed potatoes are perfect! The chef is from Idaho (or Iowa? I will have to ask next time) so you can expect the best mashed potatoes. Husband got the braised beef rib and it was perfect, falling off the bone, and served with a savory au jus-based mushroom gravy. Mushrooms, red bell peppers, and asparagus on the side as the veggie, served on top of a bed of white rice.I've also had the pesto pasta with shrimp (delicious), husband has had the jambalaya (zesty and peppery). Smoked salmon bruschetta is what we usually get for an appetizer, served with pesto spread on top of a small piece of toasted bread with the smoked salmon, a dab of cream cheese, and some dried cranberries, mmhmm, topped with smoked paprika (husband could eat a whole plate by himself).Service is friendly and efficient.This place is truly a diamond in the rough. Food is so good.Tips: you can find parking in front on the street or in the back. Across from Lunasia and close to Alondra's, a hot wings place."

"Such a cute mom and pop shop. Aunt betty is so sweet and though she’s not present at the moment probably because of COVID.. , they really still uphold her integrity with the food. Big fan of the pancakes but their aloha burrito is super meaty, and their beef short ribs huge. My friend says it reminds her of legitimate Hawaiian food but I’ve never been myself, so I can’t attest. But she’s been to Hawaii three times, if that says anything. Portions are super generous and it feels good to support small businesses. Please be patient with orders and member these times are tough for everyone. "Like any other In-N-Out, this location is great and nearly always busy...packed in the drive-thru. The burgers are excellent and produce is fresh. The fries are a little salty in my opinion, but nevertheless, I still order them. An appealing aspect of the chain is the prices are more than fair for the quality received. This is a pretty good location and for the most part clean inside. Staff is friendly."

"This is my favorite sushi place in L.A. definitely in Alhambra. Staff is always friendly, plenty of parking, and the food is delish. Plenty of appetizers to start you off, my favorite being the snow bombs. The plates are plentiful, and while yes the prices have gone up since the pandemic, there?s plenty to share with your friends or guests. Also during the week, beer is cheaper, and that?s an all day thing. The menu is huge, and so many options to fill your palette. The bento box for non sushi lovers is great and very tasty. This place is perfect for sushi beginners and pros."

"Really good food and a huge selection of dishes to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty everything was. I wasn’t that familiar with several of the dishes and ventured to try some new stuff that turned out to be amazing. Yang chow fried rice was tasty with bits of Chinese sausage and huge pieces of succulent shrimp. Fish tofu and melons in supreme broth was a delightful milky soup with soft fish pieces and fresh, crisp vegetables in a peppery soup. Mongolian beef with scallion was light and tender and flavorful with crisp red onions and crunchy scallions. A great choice for dinner!"

"The customer service here is horrible!! That is the number one thing that you would expect from any restaurant and this place failed. My coworker and I walked into this store and literally waited 7 minutes until an employee came to the register. We didn’t get any acknowledgment from the employees walking right by us or no one saying “one minute!” We just got silence. I almost left. The fried fish tacos are still very tasty. My friend said it was not worth getting the shrimp burrito because they mostly filled it with beans and rice and barely any shrimp. Not sure if I will come back. I am very disappointed in how their service is lacking. That makes a huge difference in dining in and choosing where to eat."

The place is quiet, very lit up brightly, it is small and cozy, as well as organized and clean. *Note: please only enter through the front door. There is a (I believe it's called a 5 star membership app on their tablet before you order and you can just put your phone number in to add points and redeem discounts or free items. I got to redeem half off my drink today. I got a hot coffee with condensed milk. It tasted really good. I think for next time I will request a bit more cream and sweetner, because the roast is more bitter than I typically tend to enjoy, however I do tend to have a sweet tooth and it was still prepared very well. The food also came out nice and hot to order. I ordered the fish plate. I never ordered this dish, but im plesantly surpised and extremely happy with the price as well as quality of the food. Based off taste and experience of other cafe food, I believe it came with: a crispy fried fish, beautifully garnished with a delicious slice lf cliantro, on a bed of rice, with a tastey layer of ground beef in between, a tea egg, mapo tofu, and string beans. The string beans were cooked perfectly and a vibrant, healthy, lime green. It tasted as delicious and appetizing as it looked. Greens are meant to be enjoyed at it's best like so; seasoned perfectly, fresh, crunchy, and delicious. The rice is nice and fluffy. The ground beef added subtle and nice texture. What I believed was mapo tofu was a perfect amount of mild spicy maybe about a 3 out of 10? (Level of spice. It was a little too salty for my taste, possibly more soy sauce than I am used to, however combining with everything else, it was balanced out, and still tasted very great! The fish was light and crispy. Everything tasted very fresh and amazing. I definitely would love to enjoy this dish again, as well as support the wonderful staff that work here. Thank you for an amazing experience of delicious food, drinks and service all around!"

"I find this place from the blue and absolutely love him! It is hidden in a small place, it has outdoor seating, the food is fantastic, and the service is fast. I had her Pho, her Vermicelli and her son Dessert. The BBQ pork is perfectly cooked: crispy and tasty. This is the first Pho-Spot that brought me to Mung Dessert. I'm in love right now. It is a healthy warm dessert that tastes delicious. Warm desserts that are healthy are rare to find. They also have children's dishes for small eaters like me (Bowl is shown the children's size). This is a big plus for me, because I prefer small portions for my meals."

"So, I hadn't been to D on M in a while, and today I was wowed! I had their veggie tacos (which I don't recall seeing on the menu last time I was here) and couldn't have been happier. The combination of roasted Chiles with corn and sauteed onions was wonderful! This meal reminded me of my abuelita's cooking in Mexico. Pair yummy food with friendly, efficient service and a big, easy-to-navigate parking lot and, Voila, you got a great place to eat! I really recommend visiting D on M."
