"I 've made a couple of efforts to eat at Golden Road prior to my recent experience, without any success. They get EXTREMELY busy and they *DO NOT* do reservations. However, upon speaking to the hostess, she advised that a same day visit could be submitted to their website to hold a table but it is only available for a same day visit. On being seated, my boyfriend is on crutches and the server was weaving us in-between tables of seated diners with literally no room for my boyfriend to get through. I had to stop the server to ask for an alternative route to the table. I know this may sound like I 'm knit picking but I feel like it 's common sense to seat your disabled customers and not guide them through a labyrinth of tables, other customers, dogs and servers, putting the customer at risk to injure themselves. We were seated outside in what looks like a 1960s beach party....in a litter box. There were dogs and kids running around everywhere and that made it difficult to hold a conversation. A little boy ran up to our server, threw his arms around our server 's leg and clung tightly and I thought to myself that is why we can 't have nice things. Moving on, our server asked for our drink order, being sober, we had water. The water is self service and I liked that I didn 't have to wait for a refill. There are several large Igloo coolers peppered around the restaurant that people gather and hang around at to chat. There are clear plastic cups littered everywhere, it didn 't seem to be a priority to keep the water filled, cups stocked or to discard the used cups. We don 't drink and other than beer, their beverage selection is minimal and poor. The really cool thing about Golden Road is that the menu has quite a few vegan or items that could be modified vegan. Our server didn 't give us any help with ordering and was not very helpful. We ended up ordering the Impossible burger, fried avocado tacos, mac cheese and the beet carpaccio salad. We didn 't have to wait long for our food, which was both surprising and nice! Unfortunately, this is where everything kind of fell apart for me here. The impossible burger had a house-made bun and came with a generous amount of shoestring fries. The cheese on the burger was a shredded cheese and wasn 't good. The burger itself looks suspiciously like a conventional burger with the inside of it pink from being prepared medium rare. I never thought I 'd have to use that phrase again. So weird. The burger patty itself was flavorless. I don 't mean bland. I literally mean without ANY flavor whatsoever. Edible but a boring waste of calories. The fried avocado tacos were OK. The avocados were fresh but again, lacking flavor. The mac cheese, is in quotes because it was nothing anywhere near resembling mac cheese AT ALL. It was penne pasta tossed with a roasted red pepper oil. This had a little smokey flavor but was NOTHING like mac cheese. The server didn 't tell us that the vegan modification for this dish made it nothing like what anyone would expect. It was really disappointing. The beet carpaccio salad was actually really good. The chef left off the vegan ricotta cheese and the server had to bring me a separate dish of it. The salad was rich, flavorful and overall, the best item we tried. It was pricey for the size but would be the only thing I would go back and order again. Upon completion of the meal, our server explained the menu discrepancies and advised us that the production of their food has changed and not for the better. Apparently, the impossible burger is made from a burger mix. I suggested that they add some spices because the mix is bland. He laughed and agreed. At best, the food is pushing mediocre but has the potential to be great, however, they 'd need a more adventurous executive chef that isn 't afraid of flavor."

Teppanyaki Grill Supreme Buffet

"First, big price, only 12.99 plus taxes from July 2022! Delicious traditional Chinese foods (as they are mostly fried or seafood, very little stir in the way only fried meat). Also some of my favorites, such as Misosuppe, Kimchi and cream cheese Rangoons. However, it was very loud and busy with people who play videos and phone calls on speakers, children scream and run makes it difficult to focus on your food or conversation. Some people are so rude and unconsidered that I could hear their action movie by listening to my headphones! There are many parking spaces, but you may need to walk a few minutes from the far end of the game. There is also quite a lot of traffic and many tourists as it is just minutes away from Disneyland. The waiting staff is attentive and courteous, but it is clear that English is not their native language, so do not expect to communicate much about it, ask for a refill or check. The selection of fruits and deserts are also very delicious! The strawberries and cantaloupes were real highlights! There are also ice cups and almond cookies, along with my personal favorite dessert on almost all Asian buffets, the coffee cake! The Teppanyaki cook is respectably good at his work with generous portions of garlic and vegetables. The only food I would advise to get is the cream noodles as it is more oil than cream. The bathroom was also clean and there were high chairs available. Unfortunately, the only diet soda she had Diet Pepsi but this is normal for Asian buffets. Finally, the roast beef cake was also a blow, definitely something I'm back next time. I will update you on my next visit! Thank you for reading and hoping that you will also enjoy this place!"

"Pokinometry has a big name. If you say it, you think science. This will be a gastronomic experience! If you think like me, if you run in the spot, you'll be disappointed. It shows that they only have to take care of more. It feels like there is no presence of management as the owners only want to be left alone. Staff are very young, maybe some of them first jobs. All right. But young, first job employees without leaving good management gave me more impression that they don't care. Maybe they try to recover from pandemic problems, or whatever, but why are other companies doing great, like Poke Co. For example, if you need to order you go though 4 levels: first is the base, second is the toppings, etc. When I stood on the sauce, there are instructions written on a board behind the station. This board has options. The employee asked me if I wanted mild or spicy. After I told them I don't like sharp, they added the sauce, even though I didn't choose it. There were at least three types to choose. Though I thought that would be strange instead of stopping them to ask what the other sauces were, I just went along. The next board was the last toppings. There is a bin of the main tips, and two small shakers of roasted sesame and seaweed. I told them what I wanted from the main subject. After that, the employee took my bowl to the register to check. But I wanted the sesame seeds. So I asked her if the sesame seeds were extra... Can I have something? The employee looked angry. I was one of two clients, BTW. Beside the sesame seeds was crispy garlic and roasted onions. I didn't see them before, and I asked what they were and whether I had something. It was like the employee couldn't wait to get me out. Maybe they could go back to the smartphone games or texts or whatever. The order here felt like I had to tell my kids that they're making their choreographies, and they're trying to get away as little as I can't check on... I was right in front of them. Anyway, I have Salmon Shrimp and Yellow **** Poke Scarf. The yellow dick was great. Very fresh texture. The salmon was muddy. Never had such salmon. I wouldn't go back because there are many other places to try now. Maybe two years ago. So, I think this business is based on foot traffic from all major buildings around. This makes me sense why the owners do not seem to pay attention to their skill compared to others where they have competition directly on the road."
