"Ive ordered the gluten free pepperoni Create Your Own Pizza in the past and have loved it. Not this time. I dont know what they did but this pizza is terrible. The crust was dry, more than normal gluten free crusts go. I didnt get extra cheese or the 3 cheese blend that I ordered. I also ordered gluten free cheese Create Your Own Pizza. What I received wasnt that. What I got was some thin crust cheesy bread sticks, I think. I cant even be sure it was gluten free since the label on the box was the same as the pepperoni pizza box. I am so disappointed."

"The food here is fantastic!! The owner has recently died so that his children run it. They are now back open 7 days a week in the evenings. If you haven't been here, please come out and try and support it This local business! We got the pizzeria and the egg roll pizza last night and they didn't disappoint! Everything on the menu is creative and delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is picturesque and comfortable. There is a small outdoor area. There are stories behind so many pieces on the walls and the whole place makes you welcome and like family. If you know Chandler, you knew he was, and that's what this restaurant is!"

"Placed an order for 1 medium taco pizza at 7 pm. Around 8 I tried to call, nobody answered. I called a total of 4 times and nobody answered at all. I walked over there around 8:15 and 3 people were in the kitchen and 1at the register. Sounds like someone was ignoring the phone. I went to the kitchen and asked about my pizza as it had been over an hour and it was just going through the oven. There was only 1 pizza on top of the oven waiting for pickup. In sum, I won't be ordering from this location again. I will drive across town before I frequent this store again. Very frustrating. If I could give no stars, I would."

"The staff is fantastic. Unlike many other Casey's locations, they offer 91 octane gas which is a major draw for some drivers who typically head to the nearest Kum & Go. The pizza is consistently on par with or even better than the average Casey's, however the hot sandwiches can sometimes be limited in supply and not constructed very well, often lacking in higher cost ingredients such as bacon."

"Went for my wife's birthday and noticed that in the on-line reservation the host realized that at greeting, then Waiter/Bartender recognized it at the beginning of dinner and then at the end with dessert excellent customer service. Food was excellent, as usual sushi, curry, kimchi fried rice all done well, although with a little more spice preferred; the difference maker is Chris the bartender extraordinary server, reminds us every time, not there in a few months and he still knew my drink of choice and woman preference. I've been in the U.S. restaurant business for 30 years and during such a turbulent time when recruiting is a challenge and retention is supreme hope that you take care of him, he is a keeper and brings your guests back!"

"Classic “Americanized” Asian food. I had the chicken adobo bowl, which was more like orange chicken than traditional adobo.Sauce was overbearing in sweetness and amount, which is a shame because the flavor of the chicken and green beans was good by itself. My rice at the bottom of the bowl was soggy and drenched in the sauce as well.Some people like this style of Asian food. I prefer the authentic Filipino flavor and this just isn’t it for me personally."

I also wanted to mention that when my mother and I sat for dinner tonight, we noticed that it took longer than normal until the waitress/waxsin saw us. As we noticed (can after a total of 10 minutes or so), someone stopped by apology that we have been missed. We had no problem with waiting, just noticed that it had taken a little longer than normal. They offered us a free appetizer and continued to apologize for the mix. I just need to applaud the staff. That's it? Iowa Nice? Customer service that lets me come back for years. If you did not try this unique culinary experience, I would recommend it, especially it? The Crab Rangoon Pizza?????????"

"IHOP I haven’t eaten here in a few years. I ordered Country fried steak, I really wanted a burger , no wait an omelette, too many x choices. We waited for several minutes to be seated, however there wasn’t anyone in front of us. Once seated the server was right there to take our drink order. Only because I’m hungry it seems like our order took a little longer than I would like, but I’m not patient So, good. This is a very unhealthy dinner. I am so happy with it. I don’t know why I don’t stop at IHOP’s very often, the food is good and the sever was very nice and friendly."

"My granddaughter is involved in the drama program at Des Moines Area Community College. After her rehearsal on July 12, I decided to stop by McDonald's to grab a quick sandwich, fries, and drinks for the two of us. However, on my way there, I spontaneously decided to buy hamburgers for everyone in the cast since it was raining and they hadn't had lunch yet. I arrived at the restaurant around 2 p.m. and ordered 20 hamburgers, 10 bags of small fries, a special fish sandwich for myself, a bottled water, and a mocha frappe without whipped cream for my granddaughter. The employee who took my order expressed that I should have called ahead for such a large order, but I explained that I had just made the decision on the spot. Despite this, there were some hiccups in the order process, including whipped cream being added to the frappe despite my request for no topping. The overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the $38+ spent, as I usually find the McDonald's on Merle Hay Road to be a friendlier establishment."

"We recently visited this restaurant and are happy we did. The kind woman at the register gave us some excellent recommendations since it was our first time trying a Maid-Rite. The Maid-Rite sandwich was served with cheese and all the traditional toppings, along with some crispy onion rings. She also brought us a delicious dipping sauce for the onion rings. The Maid-Rite was excellent, and the onion rings were crispy and flavorful. The service was quick and very friendly, and the dining room was clean. Overall, we had a great meal and would recommend this place to anyone passing through Iowa."

"My boyfriend and I have been here numerous times and have had great service and excellent food! Tonight we went for dinner and had to ask to put in our appetizer and food order. I had to ask for a refill on my soda 3 times and water twice. We ordered and it took our food a good hour to get to our table. We sat at our table at 6:40 ish and didn't get our food until 8:15. My mashed potatoes were cold and was told the kitchen was out of butter. We would have ordered another martini but our empty glasses sat the whole time without being asked for another round. This was one of our favorite places but will definitely be awhile before we go back."

"My friend took me here for Lunch. We both did the lunch buffet. Their house dressing was awesome, along with the soup..which I believe was vegetable beef was very good along with the garlic knots. "THIS IS AN AMAZING FAMILY RUN RESTAURANT!!!!The food is FRESH DELICIOUS !!We r traveling across America and was camping in Iowa and decided to try this restaurant. "They should probably get a better evening manager we watched two couples walk out as employees looked over at them but never came and sat them, also they were not busy more busy with chitchatting amongst themselves .I eventually just called there main phone line and asked them to seat us since we drove over an hour away to eat there. Customer service definitely needs to be worked at this restaurant and this happens every time I’ve been to this location in the last two years. Food also was sitting for awhile before it was brought out. This restaurant use to have so much potential it’s sad to see it go down hill."

"Perkins is a fantastic restaurant that I believe appeals to an older crowd, which is why I enjoy coming here. However, it is not exclusively for older patrons. I appreciate the wide variety of items on the menu, and the bakery selection is top-notch. Today, I may only have coffee as I ate too much at lunch, but my wife will have a meal and we have invited my son and his wife to join us, so they will make up for what I can't finish. "The dining room was closed, and the line for the drive-thru was even longer at 7:40 PM. I noticed a worker on holiday, despite there being around 15 cars in line. We waited for about five minutes just to place our order. When we finally got to the front, they told us to hold on because they had just received a large DoorDash order. After another five minutes, we had been in line for over 20 minutes. When they finally asked for our order, they requested that we wait a few more minutes so they could catch up. It was clear they prioritized the DoorDash order over us, as there were customers waiting in line. Frustrated, we decided to leave."
