"My wife and I are long time Derby Customers. 30+ years). The past 2 times we have been in we have had problems. The second to last time we had the Tomahawk Steak for a celebratory dinner. The meat was barely warm and the sides were room temperature. Anyone can have a bad doy so we wrote it off to having a bad day. All the other times we had been in during the past 30 years, it has been great. Last hight we came in for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. My wife ordered the Derby Delite with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Both were room temperature. Very disappionting. They did take it off the bill, but that's not the idea of a celebration. Two times in a row and we're having doubts about going back which is a shame as we really loved the place. Right now I'm not sure I would reccomend it to a friend."

"I am really glad to have tried this place. I would have never known about it if my friend had suggested we try it out. They have quite a few options on their lunch menu and regular menu. The calamari definitely was the favorite, but I also enjoyed the fried zucchini. The Boston clam chowder was good, but I want to try their red chowder next time out of curiosity. Both the fried and grilled seafood were cooked and seasoned well."

"Here with a friend for lunch. Super fresh ingredients, great presentation for a little diner. The chicken salad pack and her macaronisalate are the bomb. The Cobb salad is the spring mix and was also delicious. Big Bleu cheese dressing! The server was such a treasure. Quaint little place.. HIGHLY recommend."

"Hate to write this review but our service was one of the worst I 've ever gotten. Our reservation is at 7pm and didn 't get seated until 7:20pm. We had an older lady who gave us a menu and didn 't come back until 7:50pm. Noted we didn 't get any water or bread while waiting. Finally we put in an order and appetizers did not arrive until 8:15 (30 mins+ . Then entree did not arrive until 9pm. It 's been two hours at this point! We quickly ate and just wanted to get out of there as desserts would prob been another 30 mins. Worst of all, the older lady who I felt bad for, was condescending and rude. She would talk to all other tables and did not check in nor acknowledge us throughout the meal. Someone else came to refill our water, gave us more bread. I had to ask the other person that I wanted dessert to go since she was too busy chatting with another table for at least 10 mins. When she finally came to us she got upset and said you shouldn 't have told them you want dessert to go well okay I wouldn 't if you were non existent for the past two hours and I needed SOME service. Customer service was the worst, and you think the food would make up for it. However this is worst than Outback Steakhouse, the steak was dry and covered in a cream sauce. For this price I rather go to a more reputable steakhouse, they cannot say they are a long institution and think it 's an excuse for bad food and service. We 've been to Musso and Franks and Lawrys multiple times and both have been around for a long time, but at least their service and food match their reputable name. Save yourself the headache."

"If you are rolling through Acadia, I recommend making a stop here! Everyone in our group enjoyed our meal, and we ordered across the menu. I had the chicken parm, and it was great. The chicken was done perfect, and the noodles had a great texture. The sauce was phenomenal! Great service also! Glad we made the stop on the way to the highest point of Louisiana, Driskill Mountain."

"Great food and very good service. The food is delicous and they have some creative drinks on the menu. My fav is the Yuzu Matcha. The only thing that kills me is the screech of chairs as they are moved; super loud and annoying. But other than that, it is a great food spot. It's small, so be prepared to wait if you go at a busy time. We like to go on Sunday around 630 or 7. Get your dish spicy... so yummy."

"Passing through to get to Jupiter and needed lunch so I ordered to go from here. Wait staff was all super nice and helpful along with the food being great. Ordered the fish and hush puppies which really hit the spot. Can't speak highly enough about this establishment as it was perfect for what I needed and you could tell they cared about the customer. Even the way the food was plated was done with a thoughtful touch for the to go order."

"Arcadia,Ca. This place serves a non traditional pizza that has amazing taste and flavors that just pop. It is a pie with a corn based crust that is perfectly prepared. I'm not sure what they do to make this pizza taste so good, but I think it is worth the price, which is more than your average pizza. But then this is not your average pie. I'd say try it, you'll like it. Wether it's worth it is up to you, I know I'll be back. The vibe here is kind of divey, but the staff is very friendly and they seem to enjoy their jobs. There is quite a bit of interesting pizza related old memorabilia on the was one can peruse while the pizza is cooking. I tried the corn pizza, which was good, but the corn flavor just wasn't there, I guess the corn kernels are not right off the cob. Any pizza they have with mushrooms is outstanding, huge taste of mushrooms in a really good way, The other slices we tried were all amazing, I liked the spinach one a lot. Oh yeah, you can order any pizza you want by the slice, enabling you to try several different pies. Enjoy!"

"We had lunch in the restaurant and one of the owners waited on us. Great service! The food was very flavorful and nicely presented. Food value is excellent! Under new ownership. You can also get a tour of the Abby along with get some bakery items and ice cream all which were very good. We saw several people come in and get 3 to 5 cinnamon rolls (8inch in diameter...HUGE) ...potato salad was the best and bought a pint to go. You have to stop at this place and just enjoy Food drinks: We had lunch in the restaurant and one of the owners waited on us. Great service! The food was very flavorful and nicely presented. "The portions were big especially papaya salad and food tastes fine. However, there was a piece of aluminum/ stainless steel string in pine apple fried rice. The stainless steel string that can be found in the scrubber. If I don’t feel it with my teeth, it could have stuck in my throat. A child could have eaten it and the consequences could be dire. I stopped eating the fried rice as worried that there might be more pieces. I’ll be showing the stainless steel piece to the restaurant staff as well. Also, I ordered TongYum but they gave me Tongka (the one with coconut)."
