"I stumbled upon this place on a whim on the morning of 06/17/17. Has no idea it was a Japanese bakery as I approached. Of course I was more focused on my 6 yr olds random story of the minute at the time. Upon entering, my daughter gravitated to the front facing pastry counter display. I then began to look around and realize just what kind of a gem I had stumbled into. The gal working the counter greeted in a soft spoken, yet pleasant manner, informing me that if I had any questions to feel free to let her know. Me being me though, I just wanted to snoop about first and absorb and process the environment first. From there, I watched guests pick up a self service tray, and begin selecting from the various puff, pastry, and sweet roll options on display along the wall of goodness. It was at this point that I realized my 6 yr old had the place worked out as she got herself a tray and tongs. Together we selected some cocoa puffs that watch you stroll by, a couple cream puffs, a cocoa filled croissant, and a cocoa banana coconut on croissant pastry. To which we made my wives and daughters morning. Simply put, this place deserves your attention. Even if you choose not to dine. You will not regret it."

"this place is absolutely magical. I only learned about it a few months ago, but already three times back and planned several more visits. not only the personal friendly and knowledgeable and the service fantastic, but the eating and tee are absolutely incredible. the facility and the ambiente are different from any other restaurant I have ever visited, and they can say that it loves to detail in exactly all aspekten des ortes. clockwork rose is fast to one of my absolute favorite places since the move into the pnw. I can't praise it enough!"

"I had lunch. When I was from Florida, I was delighted to find a Puerto Rican restaurant. The food was fresh, hot and the service was fast. The maize fritters and fried plantains were great. The Cuban and Rock Steak sandwiches were perfect. Be ready to eat a good amount of food. Condiments were great (would love to see banan ketchup too! The staff was friendly, the business was clean, and although it is able to find a little hard to find (you can easily miss it TV car, this place makes for a great little hiding place. You can enjoy the atmosphere and food by using bamboo to protect the business and the terrace from traffic. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who enjoys the Caribbean fare."

"Straight up easy 5 for this one. Nice straightforward layout. Great menu that I will enjoy tasting around, started with the flagship sandwich, but many choices to try there. They have an extensive drink menu especially the boba tea. I look forward totrying the steam buns. Come see for yourself. The sandwich is reasonably priced and I found them very satisfying, very fresh!The pate was really earthy, I enjoyed that but might turn some people off. If so, just ask questions first. "The food is constantly good. My 'go to ' is the pulled pork sandwich.This time I had the southern fried chicken bites. They were great as always. (My 2nd go to dish)My friend had never had them. She was astounded... the sweet honey chili sauce makes chicken bites an entirely different meal. Of course the chicken is tender and fried to a crispy golden brown.Last time I had the brisket. Normally I have their house salad and home made honey mustard dressing.Over many years, I 've sampled the entire menu... not one 'dog '. "Amazing al pastor around this area!! I really enjoyed it. I've eaten almost around Beaverton Aloha area and this is by far my favorite spot for al pastor. The ratio of meat, pineapple, and the seasoning was just perfect. Not overly oily either. It had a really nice char to it as well. I also got the shrimp fajita burrito and wow!! That was also delicious. Shrimp in every bite. Had rice and beans inside but it didn't feel heavy at all. I'd order that again. Looking forward to trying all the other items on the menu. Salsa was mild and complimented everything well. Service was fast and friendly. I'll be visiting more often"

"the oregonian led us here and mentioned the much missed typhoon in a new piece. I have to say that there is a really pleasant experience from the beautiful dining room, the simple parking (only read the signs carefully around the round and the wonderful server it was a really pleasant night. I was diner with only one other so that we could not go very deep in the menu, but my food content was abundant and tasted the next day even better than rest (like?! also the rice and the broth (suppen) were beautiful. I should add when I ordered the server and I have settled on medium-sized flavor, and I would consider this eating as mild, so maybe they don't use a heavy hand in the season. some Thai restaurants have seasonal tablets available for them to supplement warm after eating is prepared, but I am not sure if this is offered here. I've always been a thai bloom stadium, but that's a wonderful alternative."

"Toshi's is a tiny and unassuming restaurant in the strip mall near me and I've heard nothing but great reviews. It is Japanese owned and operated so I had high expectations. I had their take-out once a while ago but I honestly don't remember how the food was, so I was eager to try it again. They have quite an extensive menu, ranging from ramen to sushi to even Japanese-Chinese food (called Chuuka), which is a rare find. I ordered the Lunch Sushi Combination which comes with salad and miso soup. The salad was delicious. I love the carrot dressing they used, it seems homemade. The miso soup was good too, but I really enjoyed the sushi. All of the fish was fresh and the rice was well seasoned. I appreciate that they gave different nigiri besides salmon, since it's so common among sushi places here. It definitely added authenticity to their sushi craft. I would love to come back and try their other items!"

"The food was for itself. We started with the grilled octopus and steactar. Both were upstairs. Our group then shared a pizza, tagliatelle and short ribs with a beautiful bottle of red. The Chanterelles on the pizza were delicious and who doesn't love Tagliatelle?! The Short Ribs that we are my favorite when they were tender fork and was occupied with a good ole girl. Ends with Ricotta Frittern and a scoup of rocky street gelato. -1 for the corn server ask if it was delicious every 10 minutes. We'll be back for dinner."

"Shortbread and peacan sandies those cookies typically made mostly of butter and wheat flour so I hadn't been able to eat them for so long, but now with Carina's vegan Bakery with so many GF options I can! I also enjoyed an open-faced sandwich with New Cascadia's levian loaf bread. It came with a sprig of dill, which I shredded over the sandwich to get a bit of fresh dill in every bite, yum. I will be back to get a vegan hot cocoa soon. Not many places to get vegan hot cocoa. I also appreciate they chose a brand of chocolate that is ethically produced."

"The Lamb was from this world! I often had lamb, but not the shaft part. This was so delicate, so tasteful, served on a bed rice with onions and peppers. I had to go back for the second time and have it again; it was consistently superior. Excellent, attentive, courteous service, from the same gentleman, also met the owner who hit the Tilapia with coconut sauce, wanting to try that, definitely. Hayat African Halal, you are a jewel, at this point countless possibilities! We will miss the beauty of Oregon, also this unforgettable Hayat African Halal restaurant. "10 stars! my son discovered this place, who googelt his own name (karver) and we finally made the trip and it was good the 3 hours drive worth! we met both owners and they went beyond and beyond to give our son a great experience. eating was incredible, fresh and ordering. the personal is amazing and so friendly. they have so many good drinks and desserts to offer! if they haven't gone too karvers sandwich bar yet, they must trust me that they don't regret it!"
