"we drove past week spontaneously to saller’s badehaus an den chiemsee (fields/Bernau). a beautiful lukewarm evening and the location is also excellent. in saller’s badehaus you can sit nicely outside with a fantastic view of the Chiemsee. Well, that was it then too.We actually wanted to eat well evening and the map promised all sorts of appealing dishes and with the price level we thought to get good cuisine. and once again we learned that it is not necessary to be good. I don't want to put the kitchen down here, but that was more complete than what we got. the beer garden was full and the services seem to have been quite sneaking. at least one had the impression that everyone was a bit overwhelmed. but you don't have to measure a restaurant from the quality and a bit of pity you had and practiced in mind. we ordered a white schnitzel and a ochsenfetzenburger. you can't do anything wrong with the shiny carving and even unlearned chefs can roast it out in sleep in the pan. the ochsenfetzenburger read more in the description on the menu. when the food was served, we were getting a little frightened. the same carving was complete standard (2 medium pieces meat panned) and, frankly, tasted a bit after the finished carvings of aldi (no slim advertising)! and the potato-gurken salad, could also be out of the plastic container from the discounter. The ochsenfetzenburger was in its moderateness to the Wiener schnitzel hardly after and somehow I was rid of the praised on the menu as: “Bayerically marinated, soaked, plucked bark rind with fresh crimson, bacon craut salad, Bavarian BBQ sauce, rustic burgerbrot and steakhouse frites”. what came was a really cheap burgersemmel from the discounter filled with “Pulled-Pork”, as well as from the same filiale probably, the fresh crawl had already had previously spent some weeks in the glass and the bacon-Kraut salad must have been squeezed into the semmel, because I could not find an extra teller with the spicy salate. the steakhouse frits came from the oven and were covered with these strange slices or petersilie pieces, just as one also knows from the big stock pack from the discounter. I don't need to mention it anymore, because everyone has bought this dinge from the discounter, knows how it tastes. for this we were then allowed to pay for the burger schlappe 13,90 and for the schnitzel schlappe 12,90. a lot of money for nothing! I understand that the badehaus has a very exposed place and is aimed primarily at tourist as a clientele. But if I already demand so much money for eating, then I should not at least deliver any discounter-like quality in a restaurant that leaves the impression that the cook is actually a student who, for lack of time, must quickly push the finished products into the many because it should go fast. a restaurant lives from the clientele. if this is satisfied, she will be happy to come back. the badehaus is unfortunately not a place to which you like to come back, although the look is fantastic. a bit more effort in quality and preparation, love to detail and ultimately to the job would help the whole thing out and make this badehaus safe also a welcome and appreciated restaurant. in this sense.......something....the soft beer was good by the way....was also from the bottle!"
