"My review from 2 years ago is attached below. Fast forward, we went back to Mambo's (post-COVID) last week, and had a VERY disappointing experience, hence the 2-star review. The menu has completely changed, and there is not a pasta dish to be found. How is that even possible at an Italian restaurant? The prices have also increased significantly on all dishes, and I believe are out of line for the local market. While the food served was delicious as expected, the portion of lamb chop(s) for $34 was minuscule. They should have been half that price. I don't know why Al has apparently changed his business model so drastically, but we much prefer the old Mambo's. We will not return until the menu changes. Now, if you want to order a pasta dish, he has a sister restaurant called Fratelli's, located one block east on Hwy 29, which serves traditional Italian dishes (priced from $9-15), a much better alternative in our opinion.REVIEW FROM 2 YEARS AGO:Excellent Italian dishes at very affordable prices. Even had live music on Friday night, a nice touch!"
