"Decided to spend time in beautiful Bethlehem, PA this Easter. Stayed at the renowned Hotel Bethlehem from Friday Sunday. Our experience started well, but went south as soon as we entered our assigned room. The room was warm 75), and the aircon was set for cool 65 before our arrival). We called the desk and was told they are in heat mode and we can open the window to cool down. They also offered and we accepted) a fan to be placed in the room. We were on the 9th floor and the room got cool pretty fast. So, we left the window open, flipped the air to heat and set it to 71. Bethlehem is a college town with Moravian and Lehigh). Main street is alive, atleast till 2am and there is traffic. Keeping the window open in a college town, with traffic all hours of the night is never a good idea, especially if you are a light sleeper. We could hear conversations in the street.Saturday night, we slept with the window closed. Around 1am, we woke up to 92 degrees in our room. The heat was just going. We turned the oven off, opened the window and cooled down the room. The next day we called the desk and was told hot air rises and you are on the 9th floor. That 's reason for the temperature. Full disclosure at checkout we were refunded our parking cost $20) for our inconvenience. We like to travel, we have stayed at many hotels across the US, we have stayed at hotels in various countries but has never come across such dismal customer service, the kind we experience at this hotel. We picked this hotel for its historic significance and with it comes a level of expectation. We were extremely disappointed. And to end on a good note breakfast was great. The ambiance was superb. The host and the serving team was super attentive and nice. even though the order was botched)"

"I was so excited to learn that this restaurant was located approximately 30 min away from my house and that driving to North Jersey for Turkish food might not be my only option anymore. We started with the mezze platter and the shepherds salad oban salatas The mezze were very tasty and were served with warm authentic Turkish bread. The salad tasted fresh, not like it sat around in the fridge all day. This is extremely important for a dish like this that has very simple ingredients. For our main meal we got the Meat Lover's Pide (Kark Pide) and Lamacun, both of which were very well made and extremely flavorful. We also got the Iskender Kebab, the dish by which I judge all Turkish restaurants. In this case, they fell short for me. While the meat tasted ok, and most people wouldn't know what they are missing, I could tell that it was processed/packaged pre-made meat and not freshly made and carved onsite. I'm wondering if this was because it was early in the day and they save the good stuff for the busy dinner service. It was also served very plainly. I expected and would have appreciated a charred hot green pepper and some tomatoes at least along with my Iskender. These are very common accompaniments. The pilav that it was served with was also very underwhelming. I hope they will improve on this dish as it's a favorite of mine usually. The interior isn't fancy at all and is maybe even a little sparse. However, they have authentic Turkish music playing in the background and pictures and paintings of all things Turkish. The service was attentive and pleasant and I enjoyed the overall vibe. We're looking forward to returning with our children soon to try the Manti, Mercemek orbas and other main entrees."

"Not Your Ordinary Diner is their self proclaimed tagline, but it couldn’t be more true. This is the first time I’ve ever been to a diner but can’t wait to go back. I gave the resturant 5 stars, but that’s with the understanding that it is after all a diner, I’m reviewing pancakes and french toast here. The resturant does have all sorts of awards for best breakfast/best diner up on the wall, they had so many that some were pushed behind coffe cups. The dinner itself is pretty small. There are eight 2-person tables, and six 4-person booths in the main room, and a diner counter with about 8 seats along the back. There’s a second room around the corner, which I didn’t really see but with I wouldn’t expect much more. When we entered the diner it was standing room only at the front waiting for a table. I think if the fire marshall came by he might have a problem with the way things were as it was almost impossible to get from the pay counter to the door. I would recomend two things – only bring one person with you as 2-seater tables turned over much quicker, and second, bring a magazine to read while you wait. Service was actualy very fast and I think the two of us waited about 15 minutes for our table. The menu offers some innovative items, it was very hard to choose what to eat as so much looked good. breakfast is served all day, making the choice more difficult. This place is vegetarian friendly."
